Oxygen suppresses bacterial and fungal growth only at the tissue oxygen tensions produced above roughly 1.5 ATA on 100% oxygen.<sup><a href=\"#ref-1\">1<\/a><\/sup> A soft chamber at 1.3 ATA on air cannot reach it. Expecting soft chamber results to match is not supported by published data.
