About this clinic

Harmony Bay Therapists & Psychiatrists in Clementon, New Jersey, specializes in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for treatment-resistant depression and related mood conditions. TMS is a non-invasive neuromodulation therapy that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate brain regions involved in mood regulation, and is typically considered when conventional pharmacological approaches have proven insufficient. The clinic provides outpatient behavioral health services for adolescents and adults, integrating TMS within a broader psychiatric and therapeutic framework. Treatment protocols are individualized, and patients receive ongoing psychiatric monitoring throughout the course of therapy.

I have worked with Harmony Bay as a client for therapy, psychiatry, and spravato since early 2024. While the first year was issue free as I had the same therapist and hardly ever had to reach out for services. Once my first therapist left I ran into an array of problems. Trying to find a therapist that worked for me was difficult and when I tried to change therapists I would not be called back for days and sometimea my calls were never returned. I had therapists do telehealth while trying to manage their child at the same time and also not follow through on scheduling help like they promised. I think if you ever run into the problem trying to find a new therapist or your therapist goes on leave for any reason you are almost completely left in the dark and trying to advocate for yourself is incredibly frustrating. The only time I have made any progress in getting things done is when I was put in touch with clinical directors. I found the handling of the Spravato program incredibly disappointing where they ended the program via email and with only a months notice, I felt like they showed a lack of respect and care for their clients. Again with their handling of schedule II drugs they sent out an email notifying clients that they must be seen in person every 3 months but provided no follow up information on who would be their new psychiatrist or how to schedule with them and calling them I ran into the same problems as before. I did have some truly great therapists during my time at Harmony Bay but other than that I feel like their client care is completely underwhelming to non-existent.

I have had a very positive experience with my therapist, who is highly knowledgeable in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). DBT skills such as emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness have been consistently integrated into our work, and that structure has been extremely helpful for me. I value his direct, practical approach and the way he explains perspectives clearly and honestly. This style has helped me better understand my own patterns and make meaningful changes. Scheduling is easy, and I appreciate having a consistent standing weekly appointment. Medication management has also been handled thoughtfully; my doctor listens carefully and has never pushed unnecessary medication. The front desk staff and records department are professional, polite, and responsive, which makes a big difference in continuity of care. Unfortunately, I am giving one star due to company policy regarding Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). Despite being in therapy for over two years and medication management for over a year, the organization does not support ESA documentation. As a result, I now have to return to a previous provider to update an ESA letter that already exists in my medical file. This policy creates an unnecessary barrier to care. My dog is an important part of my emotional stability and overall mental health, and this lack of support is deeply disappointing. Overall, the clinicians themselves are excellent, and the quality of care is strong. However, the company’s ESA policy significantly impacts accessibility and continuity of support, which ultimately affected my rating.

I have been attending Harmony Bay TMS for the past couple months. I am so grateful for the staff there. They are so kind and understanding and I recommend Harmony Bay to anyone interested especially the TMS offered, the service I receive. When I arrive for my treatment Hannah is always kind and she recognizes me and checks me in, which makes me feel good she’s able to remember me! Theresa has been a huge help to me, if there is anything that ever comes up in my life she has been super flexible and always makes it work. She is also a joy to talk to and you can tell she really cares, she remembers different things going on my life and always follows up, I feel genuinely cared about. Johna has also been great, she’s super kind and always has the show the office on for me when I go in for my TMS treatments with her! Non-stop laughs that makes the treatment enjoyable! I met Liz today, she’s new on the staff and she was also super nice. If you are looking for TMS, I highly suggest Harmony Bay!
