How we vet clinics

Every listing has to clear a public bar. Most clinics we review never make it in. Here is exactly what we check, and what verification does not mean.

The five checks

  1. Physician on staff. We record whether a licensed physician is on staff so you know who is accountable before you walk in. Scope-of-practice rules still apply; this is not a skill ranking.
  2. Federally verified identity. We check clinics against the federal provider registry (NPI) and the HHS OIG exclusion list. Excluded providers do not belong on a trust directory.
  3. Truly regenerative offerings. We filter out med spas and general practices that only borrow regenerative language. Listings need genuine regenerative or closely related modalities we cover.
  4. Still operating. We confirm the clinic is open and reachable. Closed, unreachable, or abandoned listings come off the directory.
  5. Reputation screened. We review public patient feedback and reputation signals for consistent red flags. Low scorers do not clear the bar. This is not a star ranking we sell.

How verification works in practice

  • License and credential checks against public records where available.
  • Treatment description review for clarity, ethics, and alignment with how regenerative care is actually practiced, not marketing fog.
  • Website and transparency audit: names, contact paths, and what is offered should be findable.
  • Ongoing monitoring and periodic re-checks; major safety or licensing issues can remove a listing.

Claimed, Verified, and Featured are not the same thing

  • Listed: cleared inclusion vetting (the five checks above).
  • Claimed / Verified profile: the clinic manages its listing and may unlock richer profile tools after identity checks. Payment is for tools and maintenance, not for skipping vetting.
  • Featured: a paid, labeled placement on hubs. It does not change organic sort order or the vetting score.

What we do not do

  • Guarantee treatment outcomes or “cures.”
  • Rank clinical skill or declare medical superiority.
  • Replace your clinician’s advice or regulatory oversight.
  • Perform in-person inspections (review is online and records-based today).
  • Sell inclusion, scores, or organic position.

Why this exists

Regenerative care is hopeful and uneven. Patients with complex illness deserve a directory that filters noise without inventing certainty. If a clinic no longer meets the bar, we remove it.
