Recently I had the need to have an issue with my hand addressed. I had the great fortune to deal with Dr. Elliot Decker. I found him to be an extremely caring physician/surgeon. After laying out and discussing with me the pros and cons of the various treatment options, I elected to have surgery on my hand in their facility. The preoperative, operative and post-operative care was superb. I now have full use of my hand and could not be happier. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Elliot Decker should you have he need for any type of hand surgery.

Absolutely the rudest group of office people I have ever dealt with and this is not just once but multiple times. Perhaps the doctors are good, but they are only as good as their staff and the doctors really need to re-examine who their office staff is. I would not recommend this practice because of their office staff. If you live in Hunterdon and need ortho go in Somerset, Princeton. Also, if you want an experienced doctor, you have to wait weeks to see them. They are always too busy. If you don't mind seeing a newer doctor or younger doctor, they are always available.

I am a healthcare worker who works at a level 1 trauma center and am used to taking care of patients with ortho trauma. I sent my friend’s daughter to this practice after researching the impressive physicians in this group. She had a humerus fracture with possible nerve injury and was initially seen by Dr. Wang (Sport Medicine). She was told by Dr. Wang that she needs to see a ‘trauma’ orthopedic doctor who can deal with nerve injuries instead a referring her to one of the ‘specialized’ surgeons within the group. First of all many orthopedic injuries result in some kind of nerve involvement. Sometimes the nerve is ‘bruised’, sometimes impinged, and sometimes damaged. Any board certified orthopedic surgeon should be able to manage this. She had no other injuries and no open fracture. Secondly, there should be screening prior to the patient being scheduled to make sure that the patient has access to providers within the group that can actually treat the problem. Now this young woman is searching for another provider to care for her, further delaying treatment. I reached out to the office manager but have not heard back yet.

My daughter injured her knee and was referred to this office from the ER. The ER scheduled the appointment. The injury happened on a Friday, the appointment was given to us for a Tuesday afternoon. Tuesday morning I called to confirm the appointment and that my insurance would cover the appointment. I told them what insurance I had. They said Everything was fine. When we arrived for the appointment, i was told per my insurance companies requirements, we would require a prescription from my daughters primary care doctor to be seen.
Why could they have not told me this in the morning when I called to make sure they accept my insurance? It was never mentioned to me until I packed up my injured and in pain daughter, drove all the way to their office and wasted a few hours of our time?

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Glassner’s for almost 8 years. One total hip replacement and both knees replaced 18 months ago. I have received nothing but the best possible care from Dr. Glassner and the entire staff. I recommend them to everyone. I’ve never had a problem with waiting or cancelled appointments. There’s absolutely no better orthopaedic group in this area.
