I had an extremely disappointing experience with the Osteopathic Center of Knoxville From my very first contact, I was given misleading information about their treatment options and pricing. When I initially called, I spoke with what seemed to be a knowledgeable and professional representative who outlined three levels of treatment for my knee issue, priced at approximately $3,000, $5,000, and $7,000. These prices seemed reasonable and in line with market rates, so I proceeded with scheduling a consultation. At my first visit, I paid $450 out-of-pocket for an initial consultation, which lasted less than 30 minutes. The doctor then directed me to get an MRI, which required additional out-of-pocket expenses beyond what my insurance covered. After completing the MRI, I had it sent directly to their office—yet I never heard back. I had to follow up myself, only to find out that an employee had forgotten to forward my MRI to the doctor. After more waiting, I called again to request my treatment plan and cost breakdown. The attending physician and their assistant assured they had sent it, but they would send it over again right away—but nothing was sent. I had to reach out yet again before finally receiving the quote. When I opened the pricing details, I was shocked. The originally quoted $3,000–$7,000 range had jumped by an extra $20,000- $30,000. The actual costs presented to me were $38,000, $26,425, and $20,925—a blatant case of price gouging. This was a clear bait-and-switch tactic, misleading me into an initial consultation under false pretenses. I wasted my time and money on this process and will be seeking a refund for my consultation fee. If you are considering treatment here, be extremely cautious and get everything in writing upfront. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic.

Dr Goddard has been giving me stem cell injections to heal my torn muscles in my shoulder and hip, and he is always so attentive and caring with me and my husband, as well!! He really knows his stuff and is so informative about our health issues! The absolute expert in osteopathic care!!
