I can't express just how grateful I am to have Dr. Chica as my podiatrist! I switched from my first doctor over to Chica's care when getting a second opinion from him. I had been getting steroid injections in both feet from my first doctor and was planning on getting surgery done on them. Honestly, I got tired of the poor communication/ lack of responses from the staff when I was trying to leave the doctor messages through the portal. I felt like they were too busy to get back with me, especially when I was dealing with so much constant pain. When I started seeing Dr. Chica, he immediately had conservative methods for me to try that helped with some of the pain and discomfort I was experiencing, along with knowledge of what brands of supportive shoes to invest in that would be best for my situation. I also got a print out of what stretches to do to help with the plantar fasciitis I was dealing with. The conservative methods he gave me were able to help me get by until I was able to get the necessary surgery that I needed on my worst foot. He's the most humble, knowledgeable, caring doctor and a top-notch surgeon! He really cares about his patients! I recommend him to everyone!!

Dr. Ricardo Chica was outstanding. I went in for a painful foot cyst, and he performed an aspiration that helped immensely. The relief was almost immediate. He has an excellent bedside manner — friendly, patient, and thorough in explaining everything. I never felt rushed and really appreciated how clearly he walked me through what was going on. As a runner with a lot of wear and tear on my feet and ankles, I’m grateful to have found someone I trust. I’ll definitely be coming back for any future needs. Highly recommend.

I have known Dr. Thomajan for over 15 years. He has treated me numerous times and now he treats my kids. As someone who works in healthcare, I regularly interact with physicians. I’ve seen a lot of good doctors and a lot of not-so-good doctors. Dr. Thomajan is easily one of the best in terms of his knowledge and expertise coupled with his kind and patient bedside manner. He takes time to explain things in a way that you can easily understand. And even though I would gladly wait to be seen by him, he always runs on time. I cannot recommend him enough!!
