We were referred here after a food allergy sent us to the ER and we needed an EpiPen prescription. Dr. Bhatti is AMAZING. The reduction in rating is for her staff. The older woman at the front desk - HORRIBLE!!! I sent forms from my daughter's daycare. They require SPECIFIC instructions when substituting food for the children. I explained this beforehand and told they understood. The forms were incorrectly filled out stating that the foods should be avoided WITHOUT any named substitution. I called the front desk and talked to the RUDE woman. She told me, "Nobody is reviewing 20pages to fill out the form!" Excuse me, how did the doctor fill out the form at all if she didn't review the forms? Also, had anyone bothered to look at the forms (which were menus), they would notice it was repeated. Her statement made me feel as if the forms were simply filled out without reviewing them. I went to the office and she looked like a deer in the headlights that I said what she told me on the phone. The nurse went on to tell me that wasn't the way her son's school does it. I explained that I'm not sure what happens at her son's school BUT the military base requires something else. I still had to have the forms filled out by the pediatrician. I will NOT be returning with my child. The trust is irretrievably broken! And I will NOT play with my child's life.

Dr. Bhatti is an excellent doctor. She’s caring and compassionate. My family and I have been coming to the practice in Rockville that recently closed for over twenty years. Unfortunately, due to the rudeness of her staff, Cynthia and Yessenia I will not continue to see her at the Upper Marlboro’s office. I called earlier today to make an appointment to see Dr. Bhatti but was placed on hold for an extended period of time by Cynthia. I was informed in a rude tone that in order for me to see Dr. Bhatti, at the Upper Marlboro location, I would have to have my records transferred from the Rockville office. This makes no sense. As a patient that supports this establishment, my needs should have been addressed with compassion. Cynthia’s nonchalant’s attitude has left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. The staff members are the first point of contact before seeing the doctor. Therefore, they are held to a high standard of executing warmth to all patients. Cynthia’s behavior was unprofessional and demonstrated that she is lacking empathy
