AIMS Institute

I have to begin with the fact I believe it's a good Org, with real focus on benefitting the community & filling a much needed clinical gap locally. I will be happy to reach my 1st appt (if that happens) as some staff Bio's really speak to the nuance they espouse. Having said that, communication is lacking= 2wks of leaving messages, no response despite having one of the most thoughtful- & longest- organizational Org intro-messages in the city. It took an initial Yelp review to generate a call back. In lieu of having no email* back up contact option on the site, when formal scheduling software is temp down (as it was)- this leaves one in the dark at the entrance & does not reflect the holistic Org intro- message. In the end, the call back was never from front desk, it was from a well meaning ND who I had mistakenly called after hours just attempting to bypass system to leave a message- ND thinking it was emergency. My only thoughts after 2wks & having experience in the field- it's likely I will be a supporter of the Org/ look forward to mtg them; where was the front desk?

Not only are the AIMS Institute staff kind and caring; the hyper-qualified and experienced care providers at AIMS are effective at providing objectively measurable positive results. My experience with the AIMS Institue has been great. The AIMS team have cultivated a remarkable healing environment abundant with kindness, understanding, and empathy. Everyone at AIMS from reception and billing to doctors and specialists have been amazing. I've made significant improvement in both my mental health and my physical health under the care of the AIMS team. Financially, the AIMS Institue is lower overall cost compared to several other places I've tried; nonetheless, the health and wellness gains I've made with AIMS are unmatched. They bill my insurance without issue and answer all my financial questions promptly and respectfully. If you are thinking of contacting the AIMS Institue, I recommend you do so. They are very low pressure, very informative, very helpful. AIMS lets me heal at my own pace while still keeping my wellness journey on schedule and on path for optimal outcomes. Sending that first e-mail to the AIMS Institue was scary but everything since then has been comfortable and pleasant. Thank you to everyone at the AIMS Institue. You are collectively a beautiful testament to recognition of the gentle angels working with us and among us in truly tangible ways. UPDATE: AIMS has helped me build a strong cognitive scaffold from which I can properly construct and repair my health and wellness. Without this scaffolding provided by my treatments at AIMS, I would never independently be able to reach the heights nor explore the spaces necessary to repair my broken human elements and awaken my spiritual power. I wrote the following advice to myself after working with the amazing Thalia: "Let loss deepen your conscious being. Your soul will survive with newfound vibrancy. For we must suffer, suffer into truth. Drop by drop the pain of pain remembered comes again. We resist--but the path to ultimate knowledge cuts with a violent precision through our hearts' greatest longings. Dwell not of what has been forever lost; focus on creating a stubborn sunshine to ripen what beauty has painstakingly grown in your deepest darkness." Public note to Thalia: Thank you for helping. Your kindness and caring will never be forgotten. You are going to help hundreds and hundreds more people in your lifetime. I'm honored to be one among the growing chorus of many that shall go on to sing your praises. You remind me of how fascinating everything in this world actually is, how fundamentally joyous knowledge can be, how rewarding and intoxicating learning and sharing from one human to another not only can but should be. You remind me that we are all in this adventure together, that we humans should support and engage each other on matters great and small, that the future beyond our time and our limited lives is impressioned every day in the choices of being kind to and caring for one another always where and when possible. You remind me that intelligence is the ability to appreciate through understanding; that we should all aspire to most fully appreciating each other whenever our unique intentional worlds may serrendipitously align. You remind me to be brave, to refine myself over and over and over and over into the best version of myself possible. You remind me to seek beyond semblances, to look with perspicacious care to tease out the secret architecture of the universe: for there are cathedrals everywhere for those with the eyes to see. AIMS is a totally amazing clinic. I feel very fortunate to have found it, especially since they take Medicare. I have worked with quite a few of the staff for the past 5 years and have found them all to be very helpful, knowledgeable, respectful, thorough, and caring. I recommend the clinic to everyone I know, in and out of Washington, who needs medical assistance.
