Marcy M here, Ive been seeing Dr Beckerman for over 2 years and its been life-changing. No they dont take insurance ladies, its Integrative personalized medicine, the price you pay if you can afford it for the BEST (non-insurance decision) personalized physician decision based medicine. I have a few Integrative specialists like Dr. B, and I use insurances for my PCP and non essential specialties like ENT. Personally my Gyn care is top priority, especially at this age (53) where my mind and body are in a natural state of transition. Having an experienced caring practitioner who knows me personally and manages my health accordingly, with a super responsive staff (Thanks Kimberly) has been a major Life changing Blessing! They are always just a phone call or email away. Im so grateful to have Dr. B and staff in my life!🙌

Dr. Beckerman has been my doctor since my pregnancy years ago. She is consistently compassionate and helpful. As I told her recently, her office has been life-changing!

Are you checking out this practice because it was listed in the 2025 Washingtonian “Best Doctors” issue? I did, and yes, it is accepting new patients and no, it does not accept Medicare— in fact it does not accept any insurance as payment. The phone representative I spoke with was kind and informative, and I am grateful for her candor and clarity. She said that Medicare will not cover any of the services provided by this practice. To give you an idea of what things cost, as of 11-3-2025, an annual exam is $615. It needs to be paid at time of service. If you’re on Medicare and have secondary insurance, the practice will provide you an “opt out” letter that may or may not allow the 2ndary to reimburse you partially, since Medicare’s not doing so first. The percentage of reimbursement varies per insurer. Obviously, all paperwork is the responsibility of the patient. My GYN retired years ago, the PA I used to see changed locations, and the practice overall no longer accepts my 2ndary insurer. The stellar medical care described by all the 5 star reviews prior to this practice, is out of reach for most women in this region.
