Sheri Martinelli, PA at Boston Bone & Joint Institute, exemplifies what compassionate and thoughtful medical care should look like. She is professional, calm, and deeply attentive to her patients. During my appointment, Sheri took the time to carefully listen and understand the challenges I have been facing. I have been diagnosed with a rare condition, and rather than dismissing the complexity of it, she went the extra mile to look up the disease so she could better understand my situation. What stood out most was her genuine compassion. She recognized how important it is for me to regain the ability to walk normally, even if that goal begins with small steps. Sheri took my concerns seriously and was proactive in trying to help. She ultimately referred me to Cornell Orthotics and Prosthetics as an additional resource that might provide specialized support. What meant a great deal to me was that she expressed sincere interest in hearing what comes of that referral, reflecting a level of care that extends beyond the appointment itself. Sheri Martinelli is a knowledgeable and compassionate provider who truly advocates for her patients. I am grateful for the time, attention, and empathy she showed during my visit. My gratitude and appreciation extend to the front desk and medical assistant

Jason Rand and Dr. Brian McKeon have been the best orthopedic team I have worked with in my now decade plus of having knee issues. Unlike a lot of other providers, they ACTUALLY LISTENED TO ME when I was going over my symptoms and didn’t treat me like a burden. I live 2 hours away from Waltham but am more than happy to make the trip to be under their care. Also Camille in the office is an absolute ROCKSTAR for her handling of scheduling and making sure all the paperwork I needed for work filled out. I whole heartedly recommend BBJI.

Tore my left rotator cuff in a fall. First opinions were for shoulder replacement due to severity of tear and age (83). Dr. Kirsch offered arthroscopic repair, which he did in 12/24. Full range of motion regained, pain free, after six months and continuing regain of strength. Very pleased with this outstanding outcome.
