Dr. Burris is an amazing physician. He is honest and straightforward with treatment interventions and recommendations. I have been having problems with my shoulders for a while especially them-shoulder. I was told by my physician that I need surgery. I opted for an injection which helped for a while. I saw him on 19th Jan 2026. He saved me from unnecessary surgery. I’m glad I saw him and got a second opinion. Be mindful of doctors pushing surgery because it may not solve the problem. Thank you for your expertise. I’m forever grateful. The only drawback is the examination has both of my shoulders, neck, and back in more pain. Hopefully, it won’t last too much longer. Had an injection in my R-shoulder the next day, no relief yet. Will schedule an appointment for injection in my L-shoulder through my PCP soon. I recommend Dr. M. Burris to anyone with knees or shoulder injury.

Dr. Michael Burris is simply outstanding. He was patient with me as I didn't want knee replacement surgery immediately. He understood. I opted for steroid shots until they were no longer effective. The surgery was smooth and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. His office staff is great. Highly recommended.

The staff is very friendly and the wait was not long. Dr. Aktar took his time in meeting me, asking questions and answering mine. He is very thorough and treated each of my questions with respect and gave me clarity on exactly what would be happening during my surgery. I just returned home from a total hip replacement. Dr Akhtar is such a wonderful and skilled doctor. I am so pleased with the outcome of the surgery! He personally visited me in the hospital both days which was so reassuring and kind. His staff is awesome to work with. Highly recommend in every way!
