I rarely write reviews but I feel this one has been long overdue. I cannot recommend Dr. Kendall Kohnle enough! She has been there for me since day one of starting my therapy journey in 2021. She has even supported me when I've had to move to different cities by recommending local therapists. She has truly changed my life for the better with her knowledge and skills. She's the real MVP!

I love KENDALL KOHNLE !! She is absolutely amazing and I do not say this lightly. So basically, I spent the first two weeks of January not sleeping a single minute so I was going through a very traumatizing chronic insomnia and I felt absolutely hopeless and depressed. I was in a cloud of confusion and mental disturbance. I've always been a bit skeptical with not just CBT, but therapy in general because I knew how much out of pocket expenses would be involved. But personally, it was the best decision I have ever made for my life and my situation. She has been such a positive light and an encouragement since day 1. With the help of Kendall's instructions and assistance through my treatment plan alongside my own personal discipline, I have been able to get sleep sooner and faster than expected even through my personal anxiety. She guides me gently and gives me assurance after each session and encourages me to take each day with confidence, to trust in my progress, not perfection. With the help of Kendall, I can now say that I am getting back on track with my sleep one day at a time. Her tools and instructions have been so beneficial and I do not know how I could have gotten through on my own. She has definitely helped rerouting my thinking patterns and understanding that there is nothing wrong with me but understanding the simple fact that I am going through sleep anxiety. Her assurance that this is something that can be treated and I can get back to normal very soon was very comforting. Now I know if I ever deal with this situation in the future, I have tools to help me, thanks to Kendall! She is such a sweet soul and professional. She is also a great listener and remembers key things from what I express from previous session and I believe that is a great therapist! She will definitely help you in your anxieties and thought patterns and guide you on the right path based on your concerns/situation. Im sad that my last session is next week but I know without a doubt if I ever need a booster session, I will be back to see her :)

Using a fake name to protect my confidentiality. But for the benefit of other ocd sufferers I had to share a warning: Their clinician failed to diagnose my ocd entirely, and then gave me a treatment that made me worse. For example, mistaking my compulsive behaviors as impulsive behaviors. They claim to be CBT specialists but all they did was give me DBT skills that were actually feeding in to compulsive behaviors - like asking me to make pros / cons lists. Asking me to figure out the percentage of how likely an intrusive thought was likely to come true. Telling me to "use logic instead of letting my anxiety emotion take over" - and when I pushed back saying that statement doesn't take the fight / flight nervous system into account, I was accused of being resistant to treatment. Also coerced me to do a zoom group therapy even though it made me uncomfortable. They then randomly abandoned me as a patient.I had to do months of therapy to recover from this place and it still impacts me today.
