Patient reviews

DO NOT GO THERE. They wasted my time by saying one price over the phone and totally different amount when I arrived. They did everything to make me feel unimportant regardless of me being their established patient previously. Good thing I made sure about the price again upon arrival. Otherwise, they would be sending many surprise bills, I am sure. I walked away and will never go back to that place. Strongly advise you do the same. Save your time and money. Find another doctor, knowledgeable and with transparent pricing.

I have pretty great health insurance, with a $40.00 copay for specialist. I’ve been going to them since 2010- and last visit I had was in 2021. Went for my yearly skin checkup on Friday. Office was empty, no patients in the waiting room, should have been a tale sign for me. Saw Dr. Terrie, she checked me out for about 10 mins and shaved off to moles for biopsy. Got changed and ready to go pay my copay, when they tell me i owe $266.66 Dollar. Why ? Because they Said since i haven’t met my calendar year deductible ($500.00) i owed 90%. Baffled , felt sick to my stomach. ask the young man, do you accept Carecredit, he says yes. Put my Carecredit card in- Declined. He proceeds to tell me , you probably don’t have any balance in the card. (How would he know- the card has over 80% of available credit left on my card.) He then ask his coworker who then tells him, they don’t accept Carecredit. Someone then comes out and says “the doctor sent your prescription to this pharmacy. It seems it’s a private pharmacy company- who then called me and said if i wanted to buy the prescription cream that my insurance all of a sudden isn’t covering that will be $115.00. I said no. I feel Robbed, i feel Abused, I feel Bamboozled- by thinking my copay is $40.00, but end up paying hundreds for a 10 min visit. I call My insurance - in the car, and they explain if it’s yearly check up/preventive- which it was, I should have only paid my copay. I’m truly disappointed/ disgusted by what I experienced on Friday. I hope to get this matter resolved on Monday and get reimbursed accordingly.
