Dr Teames and team are excellent. The practice is unique and was extremely effective for me. DBS handles some really complex issues, and they do it with deep thoughtfulness and with individual patients’ full recovery always front and center. After attempting *many* treatment modalities, I feel extremely fortunate to have found and worked with them.

A HUGE thank you to the entire team at DBS for helping me get my life back! After a car accident in January 2024, where I sustained multiple injuries including a TBI, I struggled with symptoms that felt repeatedly dismissed by various providers. I kept hearing that “the brain takes time to heal” and that eventually I’d feel normal again, yet I continued to experience daily headaches, intense mood swings, dizzy spells, and persistent hip, neck, and lower back pain. While I haven’t yet completed my treatment at DBS, in just four short weeks I already feel like a renewed version of my pre-accident self. My dizzy spells are gone, and my hip and back pain have become nearly unnoticeable. I’m back to my pre-accident gym routine and running again—something I wasn’t sure I’d ever do comfortably again. This program not only teaches skills to support physical healing but also helps regulate the nervous system. I’m incredibly grateful for the tools I’ve gained and use daily. I’m confident that by the end of my treatment, I’ll have even more positive progress to share. If you feel dismissed or hopeless—and you’re ready to put in the work to heal—I cannot recommend the team at Desert Brain and Spine enough!
