Amazing healing experience with Dr. Johnson! I went though months of terrible and unknown issues with my stomach and digestion. Alex Johnson was amazing to listen to my symptoms, talk with me about plans, and guide me to my best health yet! With changes to my diet, supplements, and even practice with mindfulness and meditation- Functional Medicine Center of Albuquerque helped me with what western medicine doctors wrote off easily. Sometimes our bodies need more then a prescription, and I’m forever grateful I was turned onto the right path with functional medicine:)

I have been seeing Dr. Johnson for three months now and I have felt better in those three months than I have in literally years! I've seen various chiropractors in ABQ for many years, and I'm so glad I found Functional Medicine and Dr. Johnson. First, he does gentle adjustments -- no cracking or popping -- instead, chiropractic tools, the Activator and Arthrostim. Second, he also can do myfascial therapy. No other chiropractor, or PT, or massage therapist, has ever done that on me. And it helps so much!

I started to see Dr. Johnson back in June for gut issues that I had been dealing with for a long time. I was able to change the way I see food and was given so much information as to how to heal my gut and got down to the root cause of why I was feeling the way I was. The only downfall was how expensive it all was. Overall, satisfied with the outcome!

Dr. Johnson seems a pleasant enough person, but I was a bit disappointed in how much more pricey this place is compared to when Doctor Redd was running it. True there is inflation, but it's like four times the price to see Doctor Johnson than it was to see Doctor Redd and there's additionally a 70-dollar fee of your money they hold in case you cancel, which is also off-putting. The lady who answers the phone seems a bit pushy. When I went to Dr. Redd I got the impression he really wanted to help -- and help he did. His wife, who was the former receptionist, was pleasant to deal with also.
