Haven Headache & Migraine Center

I’ve suffered from migraines as long as I can remember, but my migraines got really severe about a year ago. I ended up in the ER with such a severe migraine and the doctor told me I needed to see a Neurologist, so I did but I didn’t find the doctor super helpful, met with me for probably 10 minutes and prescribed me medicine. I saw an ad for Haven and thought I would give it a shot. Best decision! I cannot speak highly enough about Haven! My first appointment, the NP met with me for about an hour to really dive in to my migraines! I really appreciated her actually listening, which ironically I feel like most doctors are pretty bad at. She ordered several tests (MRI, sleep study, etc) and put me on a preventative medication. Haven sends you daily text messages to ask if you’ve had any headaches to help track your headaches and that data is very helpful. My NP eventually put me on Emgality (because she wasn’t seeing enough improvement with the other medication), and I haven’t had a migraine since I’ve been on it! I am incredibly thankful for Haven! I have been a headache sufferer my whole life, and I feel like they truly care and want to help you feel better!

Haven is the best! Having struggled with migraines most of my life, I am impressed with the time, knowledge and care they approach migraine care with. They have many new preventative and acute medications available, and have been able to find ones that my insurance will cover that work for me. My practitioner has migraines herself, understands the struggle and spends a significant amount of time with me. They are easy to schedule and get ahold of and I have found them far more knowledgeable than neurologists who treat a wider range of conditions. 10/10 recommend!

I just met with PA Stephanie at Haven Headache and Migraine Center today and had such a great experience. She has incredible energy and you can immediately tell she really knows what she’s talking about. She explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made me feel confident about the next steps. She went above and beyond during the visit and was genuinely supportive throughout the entire appointment. I left feeling heard, understood, and actually excited to start the new treatment plan. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for thoughtful and knowledgeable care.
