Three weeks ago I went to have the stem cell procedure. Both my shoulders had deteriorated and the orthopedic surgeon wanted to do surgery. I also decided to have my knees done. They had been bone on bone since 2006. and I had decided to just endure the pain. I researched the stem cell procedure and decided the InovaCYte in Glenview , IL.had the best credentials for my needs. I contacted them and immediately was given my options and all the information to make the procedure a reality. Everyday I was in pain that was almost unbearable. I needed help. We drove from MS. to Glenview and was met by Joe Perricone. He set up time frame for the procedure and answered any concerns we had. The day we arrived at the clinic , we were met by a helpful staff. The procedure , even the bone marrow extracting, was painless . Doctor Rachel and his staff were wonderful. The injections were done, it was completed. Within 3 days I already could tell the difference. The shoulder pain was so much less that I was not using the lidocaine patches and meds for relief. The knees were also less painful. I no longer heard the bone hitting bone. Three weks later, I am now dressing myself, which before I had trouble getting my arms above my head. I am even able to do my own hair. Their is a tightness in my right arm as I work it , but I feel that doing some gentle lifting and stretching that too will diminish. I am not running races yet but the improvement is enough that I only use my cane on uneven ground. Stepping up stairs is still some what difficult but the pain is less. I feel as weeks go by, I will improve even more. The concern and care given by this group made the entire procedure a blessing for me.

Called 4 times to try to get more info/schedule an appointment. Never got a call back.
