From the moment I walked into the Institute of Functional Health, I knew I was in good hands. Leadership starts at the top with Dr. Torres, and it’s clear that they are truly committed to helping their clients find the root cause of their health issues, not just masking symptoms. I never thought I’d find myself excited about working out again, but thanks to their team, I’ve actually looked forward to my sessions. The trainers in the fitness gym are incredible. They don’t just let me go through the motions – they zero in on my form, correcting it when necessary and making sure I’m doing everything right. Their constant encouragement and motivation keep me coming back for more. I really appreciate how they make sure I’m safe while pushing me to improve. Honestly, who would have thought I’d be driving across town on Christmas Eve just to get a workout in? But I couldn’t imagine celebrating the holidays without feeling healthier and stronger. Thanks to the Institute of Functional Health, I’m celebrating this season feeling lighter, more fit, and more energized. Thank you to Dr. Torres, Luz, Hailey, Martin, and the rest of the team for giving me my life back!

My wife and I came in to see Dr. Torres with our heart on our sleeves. She has a disease that, if it does not take her life due to complications, she will be faced with transplant surgery in the next 10 years. No cure No treatment. Our goal is 1. Quality of life 2. As healthy as we can get so when the day comes, she will be strong and ready for major transplant surgery. Dr. Torres took on this challenge with true conviction. While it took many changes to our lifestyle and a good amount of dedication we reached our goals. When that happened Dr. Torres didn't kick us to the curb and say good luck, instead he kept us on and has taken a personal interest in her LIFE. My wife signed up with their staff doctors to maintain health and she sees Torres every month to keep her on track. Sometimes it's praise sometimes it's hard facts. I'm just a simple man who has a difficult time dealing with pending death. Dr. Torres has helped with that and my faith. Faith in people, faith in medical science, faith in healthy living. Thank you Dr. Torres and thank you to all your staff who have signed on to what you do in good faith. It shows. Looking forward to years of consult and friendship.

Everyone was really nice however I already knew what was wrong with me due to having recent blood work drawn. I had low testosterone. I take care of my health I’ve have lost 140 pounds, my A1c is perfect, fasting sugars perfect. I exercise and don’t eat sugar or processed junk. Did blood work with them. What do we see my Low T. They wanted me to pay 4,000$ for some program for something like 6 months and fix my hormones last. 🙄 I declined their program . I found Dr. Shawn Tassone he is based in Austin Texas and can practice in several states. I uploaded my blood work had a video visit and was prescribed my compound T cream. Meds and visit under $600.
