He performed my hysterectomy last week and it could not have gone any better. He is so caring for his patients. I drove 4 hours across the state just to see him because his reviews have been so good. Ladies - He’s a good one! He listens and truly cares.

I went to Dr Jay Williamson to be seen for an onset of female issue. The first visit I was certain I made the right decision for a doctor. Even my husband liked him. He addressed my issue, consulted another specialist and performed a hysterectomy as was needed. Each visit, he answered my and my husbands questions, explained in detail the situation and the options. He absolutely made me feel comfortable in a scary situation. The office staff is friendly and comforting. I am very pleased with my experience in his office and during my surgery.

Love Dr Williamson. I have been a patient for 27 years. He was my OB with my twins and has done a couple surgeries on me. His bedside manner is really great and I trust him. I also like his staff. I can’t recommend enough!

I’ve debated posting this, but I feel it’s important to share how upsetting and unprofessional my experience was. What started as a simple phone call turned into a nightmare. I called the office to ask a basic question about whether anyone had spoken with my insurance representative, and instead was met with extreme disrespect from Kara. Her tone was condescending and unnecessarily aggressive from the start. When I asked her to please stop speaking to me the way she was, she actually laughed at me — which was incredibly hurtful and pushed me to tears. In that moment, overwhelmed and deeply upset, I called her a name I shouldn’t have. I fully admit that I was wrong for that — but I was also pushed to that point by how she treated me. I tried to follow up in person to speak with someone calmly and get clarity, especially because I noticed that recent messages from my doctor, Dr. Melissa, had disappeared from my patient portal. The receptionist said she could print my records, but that messages couldn’t be printed — which isn’t accurate or legal. When I expressed that concern, instead of offering a resolution, I was handed a termination letter on the spot and my portal deleted. Later, Kara called me and said it was Dr. Williamson’s decision to terminate me as a patient, based on what she told him about the situation. She said he supports his staff, which I understand — but I also believe that support shouldn’t come at the cost of fairness or truth. I wish Kara would take responsibility for the way she treated me during that call, because none of this needed to escalate the way it did. It’s extremely unfortunate that I can no longer see a doctor I trusted because of a disrespectful interaction with a manager. I let someone working in a medical office get me that emotionally worked up, and that shouldn’t happen when all I was trying to do was get help.

He is the best! Dr. Jay is the reason I now have a beautiful little boy after years of infertility. He is very kind and empathetic. He and his staff have wonderful bedside manner and they are all very educated and not stuck in the past! I see his Nurse Practitioner Melissa for my wellness exams and she is wonderful as well. They truly care about their patients!
