Manhattan Medical Arts - W 13th St Union Square

First and last time as a patient here. I came in for a medical exam and, at first, everything seemed great. They have a smooth and easy system, and the price for the exam was very reasonable. They also encourage you to leave a nice review every time you contact them, but I usually wait until the service is fully completed before doing that. Jenny was good - she walked me through the process, gave me a quote, and explained everything very clearly. However, my experience at the office itself was disappointing. I visited three times. The first visit was ok (they do a much better job over the phone when scheduling). The second visit (3/3), when I arrived, I greeted the front desk staff and received no response, the ladies kept gossiping. When I stepped closer to the desk, they looked at me but continued their conversation and didn’t acknowledge me. I eventually had to interrupt and explain why I was there. Very awkward. On my third visit (3/5), the front desk lady was extremely cold and rude, it seemed like she hated me or her job, even when I finished the process and paid, I said “thank you” and received no response, not even a forced smile. The overall experience felt very unwelcoming, worst than being at the DMV. In short, this place seems to have a well-organized system and fair pricing, but the front desk staff has ZERO customer service skills. I hope they work on improving the patient experience at the front desk.

I’ve had an amazing experience with Dr. Chung and Dr. Hanif and their office! Booking appointments is incredibly easy, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating, even when the office is busy. Both doctors are perfect for patients with Medicaid, though it may be a more expensive choice for those without. The service is exceptional—Dr. Chung and Dr. Hanif genuinely remember me and important details about my life no matter how long it’s been since my last visit. They create a welcoming and comfortable environment, which makes it easy to share openly as a young adult female. Highly recommend!

Alex at Manhattan Medical Arts was amazing to work with. He made the scheduling process incredibly easy and was super responsive in answering all of my questions. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made the whole experience stress-free. I really appreciated how helpful and patient he was — outstanding service overall. Highly recommend!
