Patient reviews

My husband went to this clinic as a cash patient because they did not accept our insurance. Each time he paid with credit card for visits in full. Treatments did not help him, so he stopped going there. 5 months later, I was surprised to receive a bill for $530, claiming that insurance did not cover the charges, even though he paid everything out of pocket. He called the insurance, and they said that there was no claim from Neurology & Pain Treatment, so I called them again and confronted that they are lying and 2nd of all that they are demanding a double payment from us. For extensive exam $325 (by the way the exam was included with injections in the first visit and it was $325) and extensive office visit $225. This is completely unacceptable. Patients deserve honesty and clarity when it comes to medical billing. My advice: if you plan to pay cash here, keep every receipt and be prepared for surprise bills.

A few years ago I damaged my peroneal nerve behind my right knee when a ladder slid out while descending from my garage roof. I was able to walk off the initial pain immediately but over time I was experiencing pain running down the outside of my right calf. I went through a few weeks of extensive therapy and dry needling but it never seemed to diminish the discomfort I was feeling. I started feeling pain behind my knee and down the outside of my calf when I would drive for an extended amount of time. The front of the car seat came in direct contact with the damaged nerve. At times it would be unbearable for 10-15 minutes before going away. The frequencies rapidly increased over time. Standing in one spot or walking would bring on intense bouts of discomfort. I had traveled to Thailand and the Philippines a few months earlier ('24) and couldn't walk more than 15 minutes without having to sit for 5 minutes to relieve the pain to the outside of my calf. That's when I decided to see a neurologist. I vetted a good number of doctors before deciding to visit Dr. Neal Pollack. After reading his bio I was comfortable knowing he was the one to help me. Dr. Pollack introduced me to Perineural Injection Therapy (PIT) on my first visit. He thoroughly explained in detail exactly how PIT worked and how it was successful in treating pain without the use of surgery. I received my first injection that day. Over the course of a few more months I had received about a dozen or so injections. I was concerned with having the ability to hunt that fall and be able to endure standing hours in a tree stand while bow hunting. I was amazed to see how the discomfort diminished with each PIT treatment I received. I decided to go back to Thailand in February of '25. Prior to leaving I decided to get injections for each of the two weeks before I left just for good measure because I would be gone for a few months. I can't tell you how many miles/kilometers I had walked while over there but I lost almost 25 lbs. and never had to sit down or rest once!! As a matter of fact I was routinely doing one hour on the treadmill every morning in the gyms of the hotels in Thailand and the condo I rented in the Philippines. I can't express enough how the PIT sessions I received from Dr. Pollack and Dr. Domnitz at Neurology and Pain Treatment has turned my life around from constant irritating pain to enjoying a pain free life through Prolotherapy! His entire staff goes out of their way to insure your treatment is everything you expect. If you're looking for an alternative to surgery for any pain and discomfort you're having, pay a visit to Neurology and Pain Treatment. You will not be disappointed!!

I tore my meniscus last March. When I went the traditional route, I was told surgery would be my only option. I decided to give prolotherapy a try and have never regretted it once! Bridget is a skilled practitioner who listens and asks wise questions to figure out the best route of treatment. I have had four rounds of injections over the last year and have resumed all physical activity without surgery. I coach volleyball. I’m an active cyclist and hiker. I cannot recommend prolotherapy more!
