Dr. Rubin came very highly recommended to me and I was very optimistic about the possibility of receiving treatment from her. The process to get the initial appointment booked was a little difficult and took several weeks. The person who books appointments was out of the country and it was hard to communicate and get timely answers, but eventually it worked out and I had my telemedicine appointment with the Dr. Rubin. I had completed all of my medical history and had submitted everything well before my appointment. The telephone call with Dr. Rubin lasted maybe 15 minutes and it started out with her reviewing my family medical history. She started reviewing and asking questions and it was obvious the file was not mine. All that I got out of the appointment was that I should stop my birth control pill and come back in 6 months, to basically start the process over. This was extremely frustrating as I had waited weeks for this appointment. Not to mention the $200 for lab work and $500 just for this 15 minute (or less) telephone appointment. I would think that if my file had been reviewed I would be contacted and told to stop birth control and then schedule my visit for accurate readings of my hormones. So I am out $700 and received no help with the issues concerning my health. In my opinion, in good faith I couldn't take $500 from someone for the services I received.

I had a very positive experience as Dr. Rubin's patient, because I walked away feeling like she genuinely cares about her patients' well being. She takes time to listen so that she can provide the best and the most personalized care for each person. Also, all my questions were answered in a very timely fashion, which made my experience very pleasant. I fully trust Dr. Rubin and her staff with my healthcare.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rubin’s for 4 years. She listens carefully, makes sure all the proper lab work is completed and prescribes medication and refills quickly. Her office manager, Hunter, keeps on top of everything and is very easy to contact.
