He does not know how to read the tests he orders for his patients. Did a test that said I had one type of candida- he reported I had five types of candida overgrowth. The chart he was referring to as *my* test result was the tests example of how results show up. He was going to prescribe me a very intense medication regime to kill a candida I did not have based on this. Please be weary. *Edited to note their reply: There was no miscommunication. When I called him out on this he said "well do you want the meds? They'll do the same thing." Except the meds he was going to give me would have made MY symptoms much worse. So no- there was no miscommunication because he was told. He willfully ignored it and pressed onwards.

Dr. Spiegel has been treating my fibromyalgia, arthritis, and other health challenges for decades. Dr. Spiegel has seen me through the best and worst times.He has always been a thoughtful listener, and a compassionate, intelligent doctor who sees way beyond a quick fix for pain. I have sent so many friends and family members to see Dr. Spiegel, and all of them have been grateful for his wise counsel and excellent treatment. Several weeks ago, my son injured himself during a workout and had nerve pain that was a level 9 out of 10. He went to see Dr. Spiegel and left the office almost pain-free. In addition, Dr. Spiegel gave him important exercises and stretches to address the underlying issue, and strategies to prevent future injuries from exercise. Dr. Spiegel is the real deal; a medical practitioner, who treats, the whole person. Not just an injured body part.

I had my initial consultation and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of time, thoroughness, and interest in my medical history that Dr. Spiegel gave to me. He was knowledgeable about my medications and diagnoses and was keen on educating me about both as well as about my other symptoms. First time I have felt that a doctor seems genuinely concerned about improving my overall well being. I look forward to seeing him again and working with him to resolve my issues.
