Very disappointed with our experience here. We brought our toddler in for what was presented as a straightforward visit, but the final bill was nearly 4X higher than what we were initially led to expect at the time of scheduling. There was no clear breakdown of costs shared, and it felt like we were simply charged a higher “new patient” rate without transparency. The visit felt rushed and lacked the depth and clarity you would expect. The prescribed medication was later rejected by insurance, and we were left without a clear, workable treatment plan. Much of the information provided was basic and already known, which made the significant cost even harder to justify. Also, please note that this practice is connected with James H Petrin MD, and reviews may be listed separately, which can make overall ratings seem misleading. Be sure to check all related listings before booking. Transparency and patient trust matter. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here.

This was one of the saddest doctor visits we’ve experienced. I had called ahead of the appointment to get a ballpark estimate for the visit. I understand that insurance plans and deductibles vary, but the difference between what I was quoted and what I was actually charged was significant and very disappointing. The visit was for my toddler, and as a parent, you already walk in feeling worried and vulnerable. Unfortunately, the doctor seemed rushed and didn’t even properly see or examine my child. We were simply told there wasn’t much that could be done. The prescription that was provided was later rejected by our insurance, adding even more stress to the situation. Overall, it was a very disheartening experience. When you bring your young child in for care, you hope for empathy, attention, and reassurance — and sadly, we did not feel that. Called office manager to help revise payment but was of no help!
