I’ve been seeing the team at PNC for over a year now, and I can say without hesitation that they have changed my life, and the life of my family. Words hardly capture the depth of my gratitude. What makes PNC extraordinary is the combination of world-class, cutting-edge care and genuine human warmth. They are truly at the forefront of the latest science, offering innovative and effective therapies for neurological challenges, exactly the kind of support people often struggle to find after traditional interventions yield only mediocre results. But beyond their expertise, it’s their compassion, professionalism, and kindness that make the biggest difference. They guide you through incredibly challenging moments with patience and understanding. They make you feel seen, supported, and safe. In many ways, they feel like family. The impact they’ve had on me, my loved ones, and the greater Bay Area community is profound. If you are searching for care that is both scientifically advanced and deeply human, I would strongly encourage you to speak with the team at PNC. They have been nothing short of transformational.

I just finished my 36th and final TMS session at Piedmont Neuroscience Clinic, and I can honestly say I’m walking out a completely different person. When I started, I was emotionally stuck—barely functioning. Now, I’m back to being myself again, with clarity, motivation, and a sense of control I thought I’d lost for good. The treatment worked—but the real magic was the clinic itself. The neurologist knew exactly what to prescribe, even for symptoms that didn’t seem like a clear fit for TMS. Somehow, he knew it would help—and it did. One issue I thought I’d be stuck with forever was completely resolved. Others have improved by at least 90%. The staff? Exceptional. They handled everything with kindness, patience, and professionalism. Scheduling 36 sessions sounded overwhelming at first, but they made it easy. They even called my insurance, got everything authorized, and made sure I never had to deal with a single phone call or headache. That alone is rare. And the technician who guided me through every session—honestly one of the most grounded, warm, and trustworthy people I’ve met. Being able to feel safe, relaxed, and even look forward to treatment was a big part of why this worked so well. I felt seen and supported the entire time. They also welcomed my service dog with open arms, which helped me feel at home from day one. Over time, I got to know the whole team by name—they’re just that kind of clinic. When I had to miss an appointment, they actually called to check in and see how I was doing. Not because they had to. Because they cared. If you’re skeptical or worried about the logistics, don’t be. This place makes it easy. They take away every barrier—insurance, time, stress—and let the treatment do what it’s supposed to do. I’ve never experienced anything like this in mental health care. I’m beyond grateful.

Extra stars for the office staff and the TMS Techs who are all friendly and kind. My issue is with the medical care that is mostly behind the scenes that is focused on treating Treatment Resistant Depression and PTSD. Without regular check ins, there is no way that the doctor and nurse practitioner can track what is going on with each patient with their daily TMS treatments. I started to develop insomnia for example which I didn’t have prior to this series of TMS treatments. I also continued to deal with severe depression and PTSD symptoms. I finally asked for extra attention and received a call, but there had been ample time to track my progress from the very beginning. Earlier this year, I had benefited from an intensive TMS treatment over 5 days. When I started to have symptoms again, I got additional follow up care with this practice, but mostly without benefits. The biggest difference between this practice and the one where I did the 5 day intensive was the personal medical care and therapy that was offered as a benefit of their treatment model. The medical providers in this practice would benefit from more training in how to deal with patients with severe trauma histories.
