Terrible. I have received a charge from this clinic, who fell off follow up and refused to respond in continuing care for me in 2022. It’s 2026… why is there a request for funds four years later? I’m not impressed with this clinic. Their staff constantly switched out. Follow up is obviously horrendous. Seek care somewhere else if you are trans. They don’t actually care about helping you. They do not care about your shot anxiety. They just want your government write off for aids treatments.

I’ve only had good experiences here. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and it didn’t take super long to get me in to take HRT labs and out the door in under an hour.

Waste of time and worthless help. I had to reschedule my appointment cause i was sitting in the wrong waiting room. Idiots and so disorganized. Advice: tell patients where the waiting room is, I sat on the first floor waiting room, never knew I was supposed to wait elsewhere. Total thumbs down. Ill seek help elsewhere, this clinic lost my faith in them.

They stop taking walk-ins. Something they could have told me had they my picked up the phone when I called repeatedly. It’s a Saturday and there next available appointment is not until Monday! I don’t understand why walk-ins aren’t being taken until the time the clinic closes, especially if you’re not going to pick up the phone. I didn’t just walk-in for kicks and giggles. I also don’t understand a free clinic that requires an appointment, again when you’re offering a free service and you’re not answering the phone!!! I’ve lived in other cities that will continue to see people until they lock the doors. Appointments at a free clinic should be designed to save your spot in line not block off opportunities to see other people seeking service. Either pick up the phone or get rid your phone line!!! .

I have personally never had anything but a good experience with the Nelson-Tebedo (at either location). The staff has always been friendly, professional and punctual. I've seen some reviews commenting on the speed of the test results, yet I've always seemed to get mine within two business days. If you had been to the old location on Cedar Springs, it WAS pretty sketchy - but the new facility on Inwood is top notch. All in all, I recommend them for sexual health care.
