Sports Medicine of the Rockies: Matthew Close, DO

Such a great experience. Dr Close & his assistants were phenomenal, welcoming & very informative. I love how they detected the root cause of my pain and immediately gave me the right treatment for it. I drove all the way from Green Valley Ranch (near DIA) & the drive was TOTALLY worth it! Definitely recommend anyone to go here!

The team at Sports Medicine of the Rockies is INCREDIBLE! If I could give a million stars I would. Friendly, comfortable, and professional atmosphere. The care is outstanding. If you come into the office you always are greeted with a warm hello. Everyone treats you with the utmost respect and kindness. Dr. Close has fixed me up multiple times. I trust him completely. For 7 months, since I had thoracic surgery for cancer, I’ve had constant abdominal pain. It was a relatively small spot but the burning and ache were constant. Three doctors told me it was nerve damage and there was no treatment. My trainer recommended seeing Dr. Close, because he specializes in muscles and nerves. He spent more than an hour with me, determined to find out the cause of the pain. Using his in-house ultrasound, he located a nerve trapped between my ribs and scar tissue. With a nearly painless injection, he freed the nerve from its trap and IMMEDIATELY my abdominal pain went away. Seven months of pain, and a constant reminder that I have cancer, were gone when I left his office. His determination to find the cause and cure for my pain was relentless, and I am in his debt.
