Experience and honesty matters. I was never led to believe in some miracle outcome, just the possibility of a better comfort of life and the possibility of complete recovery if the stem cell treatments took, and if I dedicated myself to drastic lifestyle changes to allow for the regenerative effects to happen. Dr Myers has really helped me out. The first two months were rough. This isn't just a matter of getting a shot and staying in bed for a week. I have as much as 9 more months of recovery to go, but even after 3 months, my knees hold up and feel better than they have in the last couple of years, and the effects of osteoarthritis are virtually gone (was at stsge 3). But again made a commitment, and a solid year of stepping out of my role at work if that was necessary, and do any PT he recommended. I talked to other people. Orthos all gave a grim picture. Other regenerative medicine clinics painted that same picture to. Their schpeel wasn't any different than Dr Myers, but he had experience others did not offer and services at a sane price for a working man to come up with. Sure, I had my hesitations on treatments the FDA wants to keep at arms length. But I have no regrets.

I was very skeptical about PRP injections after it was suggested as a form of recovery and repair to help with my knee pain due to old surgeries and a slight tear in my meniscus. But here I am 3 months later with no pain. Dr. Meyers was very transparent about my options and what to expect and I am happy with the results.
