Another surgeon botched my hip replacement and sent me to Dr. Buch. I had a terrible infection. Dr. Buch worked with me through the severe infection, he said he would do whatever it took to save my limb and he did! He does not sugar coat anything. He tells it like it is and either you do it or you don't. He is an amazing Dr. and I would highly recommend him.

DR. Buch' is wonderful and so is his staff. In, particular, his PA, Kuroush has treated. He was highly skilled and so compassionate when he removed my sutures. He has followed up and addressed my needs as they come up. He seems to go above and beyond and I'm extremely grateful for his care. I highly recommend this practice

Dr Buch did a knee replacement 3yrs ago on my r knee. After having pain ever since the surgery I went back to him only for him to tell me I need another replacement. I went and got a 2nd opinion and this dr said I didn’t need another replacement but to try a knee brace, I’ve done that and it’s helped a lot. All you have to do is see all these negative reviews.

I am not going to give Dr Buch a 5 star rating yet because he is not finished with my hip yet. He was the only one who cared enough to take me on back in 2023, after the original surgeon screwed up the hardware placement, lied about it as well and kept pushing me off to other surgeons just to get rid of me, I am so thankful to be a patient of Dr Buch because 8 to 9 other orthopedic surgeons would not take me on or they no longer did hip revisions, if at all. My pain management Dr. Z. Referred me to him in late 2023 and so far, I have had an exsanguination in my right hip, twice, a revisions, 3 dislocations in 12 hour period, a very bad bone infection that was resistant to nearly all the known antibiotics except for 1. I was at Carrollton Regional hospital for 5 months battling for my life because I didn't have a good recovery from the 3rd surgery and was very allergic to the one medicine, the doctor said would work. Spent 3 days after the surgery, 5 units of blood, 3 during surgery and 2 more in the ICU because my body started to shut down. A few weeks later, 3 more days, when they were trying out different antibiotics. I went into respiratory distress and stopped breathing, from the antibiotic that was supposed to work. The medical team did not give up on finding a medication that would kill the infection but not me. Other than the regular nurses on the floor that tried to take care of me, the doctors all came by to see how I was doing, discuss my hip surgery with me, and tried to keep my pain level down through 3 different pain meds. Dr Buch didn't come by as often as the other doctors, but he tried to explain what he was going to do with my hip or something else if he had to change the direction of the surgery because of some sort of damage, equipment placement and soft tissue damage, from the bad surgery by the first surgeon. HE is not the easiest man to get to know but he has a twisted and dry sense of humor. He is willing to do whatever you need him to do as long as you follow the instructions he gives you. Uses the brace or foam pillows, and understands the restrictions, on the part of the body, to the letter OR he will quietly yell at you for making him work harder.

I’m a middle-aged man and this is the first time in my life that I’ve written an online review, but after my experience with this, person, I felt had to. TLDR; Ladies, save yourselves the trouble—this is not your doctor, this is a fossil from a the Stone Age. My girlfriend had been in pain for over a month. I went with her to her appointment because I wanted to support her. I knew how bad the pain had been for her. Within the first five minutes of the doctor being in the room he turned me and explained that he was giving my girlfriend a hard time because women had the Me Too movement“ Yes that’s right. He brought up the me too movement that happened about six years ago as justification for the way he treats women. The rest of the appointment felt like non-stop condescension to me: he interrupted her, talked over her, and made about a half dozen snide remarks about women’s intelligence. Towards the end of the conversation he casually suggested something a long the lines of this one is broken so you should trade her in for a newer model. Much of the time he was talking he didn’t even look at her but rather looked at me and talked about her like she wasn’t in the room. Aside from the above, when examining the areas of her body that hurt he didn’t seem to be carful or gentle to me. She confirmed that she felt the same with me afterwards. Also it took about 45 minutes from the scheduled appointment time before anybody took us back and even longer to have the doctor come in. I believe we had arrived early. I’ve never encountered a doctor's appointment this appalling in my life. I know women are treated poorly sometimes but by the end of the appointment I was absolutely in shock. I was in shock that that Ashton Kutcher didn’t pop out to tell us we’d just been punk’d.
