Skin care, Dr Grimes is the one! Im currently with a different insurance and was going to another dermatologist. They gave me a bag full of prescription meds along with a bi monthly shot that didn't correct my dermatitis and eczema. I knew I had to pay out of pocket to see Dr Grimes. It is worth EVERY penny. She’s thorough, takes pictures, samples and draws blood. Im back on the road to recovery. Did I mention shes very personable and caring???? She is! And she takes her time with your visit, no rush job. 🩷

I have a complicated case of Alopecia and suffer from a rare Autoimmune disease. Dr. Grimes has a vast knowledge of my condition and worked WITH me to treat and secure proper bloodwork. I have seen an improvement in my condition and mores on felt supported and seen by her. Although I often spend longer than I’d like in her office, I understand why! She takes her time thoroughly evaluating and answering questions. She has an impeccable work ethic (often in the office past 6pm) and sincere bedside manner. Scheduling is easy, her staff is kind and her office is conveniently located with ample parking options.

I have been seeing Dr. Grimes for over 20 years. She is an excellent physician with a very nice demeanor and bedside manner. What other reviewers have said about the office being busy is very true. She is a vitiligo specialist as well as a dermatologist in other areas. She has a very high amount of patients. Very a few dermatologists understand vitiligo so this is sometimes the slight inconvenience to pay but it's well worth it. I would not go to anyone else and you just have to accept some of the dynamics but I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a great dermatologist.

My review is not for the doctor but about my experience and process with scheduling. On January 14 I called in to make an appointment for my Vitiligo diagnosis, they let me know the earliest date they had available was March 4th, which I confirmed on the call. On March 3rd I received a call from the office that the doctor now had to travel and was no longer able to make my appointment the next day. I called them again that day to ask when I could get rescheduled and they said they needed a few days to figure out when they can get me in, I told them that because my insurance coverage was ending end of March I would love to be able to make it in before the end of march especially considering I had made my appointment a month and a half ago. They assured me they would try their best. On March 11th, a week after they cancelled my appointment they called me and asked if I could come in on March 13 10am. I work a 9-5 and can’t call out at short notice and so I told them that wouldn’t work for me and they said then I would now have to wait till April or wait for a cancellation. There seems to be no regard for patients time nor their needs. I was going through a flare up with my diagnosis and was hoping to get in to see the doctor soon but to no avail.
