Recently, I had been hearing more and more about hormone restoration, and I decided to take a visit to The Hormone Restoration Center in Colorado Springs. I was approaching 50 and I wanted to learn more about hormone treatments. I went in for a consultation and blood work. I was very surprised to find out that I had a thyroid deficiency. Christine prescribed a thyroid medication and Vitamin D supplements, and this has rocked my world! I had been feeling very tired and lacked energy. I could hardly get through a day without taking a nap. I supposed this was a natural part of aging, but boy, was I wrong. It was due to my thyroid not working properly. Now, I wake up ready to go, go, go all day. At bedtime I get to sleep much faster and I sleep better too. Another surprise, I was also experiencing joint pain, and that has drastically reduced. I'm also well on my way to losing the 15 pounds that I had gained over the past two years. I'm much more productive which makes me feel so much better. I'm very happy that I went in to the Hormone Restoration Center. It's been one of the best things that I've done for myself in the last ten years.
