Dr. Mazzullo is the best!! She treats everyone she’s around with care and respect. She takes the time to do a comprehensive exam and carefully listens to her patients. I highly recommend her and the entire practice. I’ve had multiple ultrasounds and every technician has been smart, gentle and kind. Also, I’ve never had to wait for more than 10 minutes for an exam or a procedure.

I want to preface this by saying that every doctor and nurse I personally interacted with at this practice was kind and compassionate. Unfortunately, the administrative handling of my care during an ectopic pregnancy was deeply distressing, and I want to share my experience for other women who may be considering this office. I first called the office after experiencing signs of a miscarriage and was told I had a bloodwork appointment scheduled. When I arrived, the front desk informed me the appointment had never actually been scheduled. I then waited several days without hearing anything about my results. After calling on the third day and having to wait for a call back, a nurse practitioner I had never met contacted me to inform me my pregnancy was not viable and apologized for the delay in getting me my results, explaining that my name had been mixed up. As my symptoms began to suggest this was not a typical miscarriage, I was required to come in for frequent blood tests. Each time, I had difficulty receiving results and had to call the office to prompt someone to look for them. During the holidays, I was instructed to go to another location for bloodwork, only to arrive and find out no labs had been ordered by my doctor. The office was unreachable due to the holiday, leaving me stuck at the facility for multiple hours. Throughout my treatment, I never once got to speak with my primary doctor. My care felt fragmented and passed between multiple staff members, requiring me to repeatedly explain my situation. At one point, even my ultrasound technician was unaware I was being monitored for an ectopic pregnancy and I had to tell her why I was receiving the ultrasound. After my final blood test, I was informed through the patient portal that I would need a FemVue scan once my cycle returned. When I called to schedule this, I was told there was a specific time window during my cycle for the procedure—but that the office was already fully booked. I was advised to wait an additional cycle before receiving the scan. I cannot count the number of hours I spent on hold trying to reach this office during an already traumatic medical experience. Navigating an ectopic pregnancy is difficult enough without feeling drained and unsupported by your own provider’s office. I strongly encourage anyone seeking OB-GYN care to consider other options.

Highly recommended. I have been seeing Dr. Wise for almost 20 years - from before I was married, through two births, and now the throes of perimenopause. She always takes care to ask a range of questions about my well-being, and thoughtfully offers helpful observations, suggestions, and options when appropriate. The staff is always friendly too. I’m grateful that I found Dr. Wise and this practice!
