I have been seeing Dr. Ruth for hormone replacement going on over 5 years now. And have used her TELEHEALTH services several times too and have never had a bad experience. Dr. Ruth A. and her team have always been professional, caring and great listeners. They treat their patients with a genuine heart of care. Dr. Ruth and her team are the best in the business. If only all medical professionals and staff were the same as this team.

I’ve been coming here for years and always had an amazing experience with Dr. Ruth Awah. She is truly exceptional and the only reason I stayed with this clinic as long as I did. Unfortunately, the billing department has completely destroyed my trust. Out of nowhere, they started charging me a higher copay than what my health plan requires. My spouse, on the exact same plan, continued getting charged the correct amount while I kept getting billed more. I provided every piece of documentation needed to fix the mistake, including statements directly from my plan. Instead of correcting anything, they refused to refund the overcharges and even tried to assign me a bogus “balance” that was never mine in the first place. What made it worse is how hostile they were on the phone. It got so bad that even my insurance agent on the group call was shocked by how aggressively they spoke to me, and by how unwilling they were to even look at the documentation being provided. After being overcharged multiple times, ignored, and spoken to with open hostility, I’m now having to escalate this because they won’t take responsibility for their own billing errors. It’s genuinely sad, because the medical care here is excellent, but the billing department’s behavior and lack of accountability make the clinic impossible to recommend. Until they fix their billing process and their customer service, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

FNRP…Ruth Awah and her team are fantastic. Always pleasant and accommodating. They respond to my requests fast and answer any questions I may have. I have been a regular for close to 2 years now and my health approaching 50 years old has never been better with the intervention and treatment program to remain in tip top shape!

Medicine Refill Today: I am beyond frustrated with the lack of organization and accuracy at this clinic. Today I was told I had a previous balance of $120 carried over from my last appointment. However, the paperwork they sent me clearly shows that my August 12th appointment was a sick visit, not a refill. My last medication refill was in June, which I paid for in full. That means I was right on schedule with my September appointment and there should have been no prior balance due. If I hadn’t looked into the paperwork myself and questioned it, I would have been charged an extra $120 for a service I was not provided. That’s not just an “error” that’s careless billing that could easily take advantage of patients who trust what they’re being told. This isn’t the first time there have been issues with the front office. It’s exhausting to constantly double-check everything, but clearly it’s necessary here. Patients should not have to worry about being overcharged because of mistakes like this. I’m relieved I caught it, but honestly, this feels sketchy and unprofessional. 2 MONTHS AGO: Used to be my favorite telehealth option—really disappointed now. I’ve been a loyal patient and even chose this service over my insurance-covered telehealth with a $0 copay because of the convenience and care. But today was a letdown. My son was recently prescribed allergy eye drops, and I called to see if we could get a second prescription filled—one for home and one to keep at daycare or school. We were literally seen less than two weeks ago. Instead of helping, they told me I’d need to book and pay for another appointment just to get a duplicate of the same medication. That makes no sense to me. I’m not asking for a new diagnosis, just trying to make sure my child has access to his meds wherever he is. Very disappointed in the lack of flexibility and common sense. I expected better.
