West Holistic Medicine

I'm new to Austin and to West Holistic Medicine but I have had a wonderful experience so far!! Dr. Afridi is excellent in every way. She has a gentle , very caring, kind spirit and I immediately felt comfortable with her from the discovery call which is an awesome way to get to know the practice, to my first visit and follow-up, all my questions have been answered and I feel 100% confident that I'm in good hands. The first visit was the most thorough first visit I've ever had. She is such a good listener and very knowledgeable. From there Dr. Afridi made a few supplement suggestions, ordered labs, imaging and helped me with great suggestions for Thermography and Dermatology. The labs were the most comprehensive I've ever had and I'm grateful for such a complete picture of my health. Maida, the office administrator is amazing as well!! She was kind and so helpful from my first contact to my first visit and follow-up. She responds so quickly and answers all the questions I've had quickly and patiently. I highly recommend this practice if you're looking for comprehensive holistic wellness. I'm so grateful to have found them. Thank you West Holistic for your kind and excellent care!❤️❤️

I've been a client of Dr. Maltz at West Holistic Medicine since September 2025 and couldn't be happier! I researched quite extensively and grateful to discover this integrative practice in the Austin Texas area. I’ve known Dr. Maltz for quite awhile, and there is no one else my family and I will go see. We live a healthy lifestyle, and are not interested in medical interventions unless absolutely necessary. Dr. Maltz takes comprehensive blood panels and asks a lot of questions about your lifestyle in order to get a sense of why issues might be happening. If possible she’ll guide you through changes that you can implement on your own in order to allow the body to heal and prevent the recurrence of those issues. She also has a team in the office that can help with a number of things, and is a great source for referrals to other top providers. In the event an intervention like medication is indicated, she’ll skillfully coach you through that process and also how to get your body to a point where it no longer needs that help. She is the real deal, an actual holistic MD. I cannot recommend her and West Holistic Medicine enough!
