Patient reviews

I saw Dr Hold for my recent pregnancy and loved him! My checkups were with Bennett and Gabby who were both equally amazing. They all listened to my concerns and helped calm my nerves since my pregnancy was high risk. However, the front desk staff was rude, once a nurse was so rude to me because I was unable to leave a urine sample before the start of my appointment. I told the front office that I had reached my out of pocket, so I should not be paying for visits and they said I needed to pay or my appointment would be cancelled. This went on for quite a while, and my insurance was not sure why they kept collecting. When they finally realized, they have left a credit on my account for almost five months. I have been calling once a month, but the last two months, I call weekly and I have been emailing the office. Either I am sent to VM with no return call or I am told that the person who handles checks is not in. At one point, they made ME call my insurance to get information and call them back. That is not my job. I am waiting for over $500 to reimbursed to me. I would not recommend this office solely on the front office staff and their accounting department.

Gabriella Valladeres is the BEST! She is one of the Midwives practicing at this office, and she has completely changed my experience through pregnancy and delivery for the better. My first pregnancy was with another office and my doctor was very pushy and transactional. When I switched over to this practice, I was hesitant because the reviews are awful. None of the reviews I have read are negative about the practitioners (I must point out), so much as commenting on negative experiences with customer service at the front desk. In my own personal experience however, I have NEVER had a bad experience. This was the biggest concern I had switching over, and I have had the best experience with staff at front desk, the medical assistants and nurse practitioners in the back as well as the midwives and doctors. Even the Sonographer’s are so easy to talk to. The biggest selling point though is the fact that this office is open to having midwives working in their practice. Both midwives have nursing backgrounds and are so patient and accommodating to what the patient wants. It was a breath of fresh air from how my previous doctor treated my appointments. Give this place a chance before allowing other people to sway your opinion.

I’ve been going to this group for about 20 years. I always had a good experience up until the last couple of years. This year the NP wanted to run some labs and said if they were abnormal she’d let me know. I looked at the results and thought they weren’t right, but I really didn’t know. I was never contacted about the results and when I messaged asking about them she said we discussed I’d make an appointment if there was a problem. How am I supposed to know if there’s an issue if no one contacts me? I don’t know how to read lab results. Avoid Jackie Chestnut NP. I won’t be going back.
