5900 Health

I previously had written a review after only a few interactions with Brienne and the staff of 5900 Health. I have since removed that and I’m providing an updated review after being with the practice for several years. I have come to learn that if you’re there for hormone replacement therapy, want to follow the textbook without making adjustments on your dosage and appreciate man bashing conversations while pellets are being placed, then this is the practice for you. I was not liking the dosage I was on and wanted to reduce it and when I arrived for an appointment, Melissa, whatever her credentials are, questioned me in a condescending manner with the tone of you wanted hormone replacement just deal with it. The practice supports a work life balance for working mothers, which I can appreciate, however it is nearly impossible to get in touch with the office whether you call or you send a message through the portal. There have been times where I’ve had to reschedule appointments for bloodwork because they failed to send my orders to me in an appropriate timeline. After a visit to urgent care and diagnosis requiring me to follow up with my primary care provider that week, it was nearly impossible to reach the office. I sent a portal message first thing on a Tuesday (their first business day of the week) with no response the entire week. I followed up with a phone call on Friday morning to get the message saying that their office support hours were from 10 AM to 2:30 PM. I then followed up with another portal message that morning only to receive a phone call Friday afternoon (around 1:30 PM) stating Brie would be willing to schedule a telehealth appointment but they were only “going to be around for a little bit longer. “ Thankfully, I had a slow recovery during the week and I didn’t require immediate care (which I would’ve sought elsewhere if need be). If you’ve made it this far in the review, if you were looking for an accessible provider, who prioritizes patient’s needs, and up holds integrity and professionalism during appointments, I would suggest you explore other options.

The team at 5900 is amazing, I feel relaxed and taken care of. I go in for ozone injection I my mouth. It has saved teeth that would have been otherwise needed to be pulled.
