Medicine with Heart Functional Medicine Clinic

My experience with Wellness within and Dr. Aleksandra has been remarkable. I spent years trying to figure out what was wrong with my health and really struggled. Specialist after specialist and nothing found wrong. Doctors often blamed it on anxiety or stress but this was not the root cause. Finally, after a year of burden and exhaustion I found Wellness Within. Turns out, I was living in one of the moldiest houses and did not even know it. Dr. Aleksandra helped me with all kinds of tests to further confirm this was the root cause. Most doctors do not recognize the serious consequences of living in mold. Disorientation, sinusitis, extreme fatigue, confusion, insomnia, headaches, etc. We are now on a path to wellness that Dr. Aleksandra has formed for me and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I highly recommend joining this program and investing in your health because you matter. Partnering with Dr. Ola was the best decision.

I have worked with a number of holistic/functional medicine doctors in the past five years to address ongoing health issues that I've had for decades. I had a Lyme and mold toxicity diagnosis before working with Medicine with Heart; so when I found a free copy online of their book "How to Use Your Mind to Heal Mold and Lyme" I read it and then got an email from the clinic for a free initial 20 minute consultation with Dr. Diane. The book impressed me so much because I felt like I was reading my own story (even though it wasn't written by me). I had already done some very expensive Lyme/mold treatments at another clinic and they did help a lot. But that clinic told me you can't heal yourself from Lyme. I got about 70% better at that clinic but was still not happy with the joint/muscle pain I was having and when I read the book I was convinced that if Dr. Diane could heal herself from Lyme (and essentially get rid of the chronic joint/muscle pain), then I could do so as well. I have worked with Dr. Diane for a year now and have been very happy with the care and the treatment processes. The staff at the clinic have much knowledge to share; and, compared to other holistic/functional medicine clinics I've worked with, charge very reasonable prices for visits as well as supplements. I am definitely on a healing journey and also recognize that I have further to go. I know that decades-in-the-making disease processes such as Lyme/mold can't be reversed in just one year of treatment. I recognize that it's essentially a lifelong commitment to reverse Lyme/mold and the systemic damage that it has done to my body. Partnering with Dr. Diane and the team at Medicine with Heart in this healing journey has been incredibly helpful and very positive for me. I am looking forward to year #2 with them.

I’ve worked with Medicine with Heart for the last year and have been very pleased! My symptoms resulted from mold exposure and, because of her own personal experience, Dr. Mueller related well my situation. Both Dr.’s Mueller and Nichols are so committed to helping patients heal and improve quality of life. In addition, I greatly appreciate having a health coach, Michelle, to work with. She is very responsive to text messages and demonstrated genuine investment in my healing. What I love about the practice is they take a very individualized approach and I felt the doctors took extra time to research my particular issues and symptoms. In my experience, that is highly unusual and, therefore, greatly appreciated! I also want to add they are very fair with what they charge for their services as well as supplements. I never felt pressured to follow what they recommended – I always felt like they worked with me and if I chose not to purchase a supplement, I felt they were as committed to my well-being as if I had. My symptoms have improved and this would NOT have happened if I had not found Medicine with Heart! I highly recommend the practice!
