About this clinic

Anderson Center for Hair, in Alpharetta, Georgia, specializes in regenerative approaches to hair loss, combining platelet-rich plasma therapy, platelet-rich fibrin treatment, and exosome therapy alongside low-level laser therapy. The clinic focuses on stimulating hair regrowth through orthobiologic and regenerative modalities rather than surgical transplant alone. Hormone assessment and optimization are incorporated into treatment planning, as hormonal factors often underlie pattern hair loss. Treatment protocols are individualized following an initial consultation, and patients typically receive a combination of these modalities sequenced according to their specific presentation. The practice positions itself as an alternative or complemen

I had an FUE hair transplant with Dr. Jeremy Wetzel at the Anderson Center for Hair, and the experience exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, the communication was outstanding—Dr. Wetzel and the team were responsive, thorough, and clear in explaining the procedure and setting realistic expectations during consultations and prep. The day of surgery went smoothly, with a professional, caring staff that put me at ease. What really set them apart was the post-procedure care: they texted multiple follow-ups to check on my recovery, and when I had some redness and discomfort, they promptly suggested effective at-home remedies for pain management and healing. This level of genuine concern and support is rare and made a big difference. I'm thrilled with the early results—natural-looking growth that's already improving my confidence—and Dr. Wetzel's meticulous technique shows in the outcome. The Anderson Center clearly prioritizes quality FUE work and patient well-being. If you're considering hair restoration, I highly recommend Dr. Wetzel and his team for their expertise, communication, and compassionate care. Worth it—5 stars!

I had my hair transplant procedure mid Dec, 2025. this allowed me to take off from work the last two weeks of the year to recover and heal. My Journey began with scheduling the initial consultation with Matt Longstreet in Sandy Springs. He shared his personal 14 year restoration journey with me and his results are impressive. This got me very motivated so i scheduled my first procedure: exozome injections with Dr. Wetzel. Matt and Dr Wetzel recommended this procedure and told me it would give my current thinning hair the strongest foundation needed to work with the transplant procedure later in the year. I was given instructions to review with my wife about what to expect during and after the transplant procedure. We arrived early at the Anderson clinic in Alpharetta, Ga, were welcomed by the professional staff and escorted to the procedure room. I sat upright and slightly reclined in a large comfortable leather chair, and received injections to numb my scalp. The donor sight in the back and sides of my head was where the hair follicles were extracted. I only felt slight tugging as Dr. Wetzel performed a methodical removal of nearly 2000 follicles. They were inspected and prepared for the transplantation, and were individually inserted with a micro scalpel into the new hair line areas in front and half way back on the top of my scalp. I felt comfortable throughout the 8 hour procedure and was offered water and short breaks as needed. After the procedure, Dr. Wetzel gave me very detailed instructions on how to wash and care for my hair over the next 7-14 days, and how to sleep with my head upright. I decided to sleep in a reclining chair next to my bed so I would not disturb the transplanted hair in front and donor area in back of my head while it was healing. I sprayed a saline solution on my scalp and this really helped keep it moist and minimized the itching feeling. After 14 days i could resume normal washing of my hair but decided to keep using baby shampoo for another few weeks to minimize exposing the transplanted hair to chemicals found in regular shampoo. It’s been 2 months post-op and what impresses me the most is how small and natural the transplanted follicles look and feel. My concern initially was not wanting the "hair plug" look from transplanted hair found back in the 1980s and ‘90s. I am pleased to say my follicles are sprouting up in individual places and not clumped together like “plugs”. I'm now in my post-op experience and I am very pleased. I had very minimal discomfort after the first week Post-Op, took Tylenol for pain, and started sleeping better after the first week. My patient counselor, Matt Longshore, was very helpful in working the procedure into my schedule. He was very good at answering questions. The next step is to receive PRP injections on month #2 post-op to nourish the follicles and speed up the growth of my transplanted hair. I look forward to watching my new hair grow and sharing my results over the next few months. I strongly recommend this procedure and Dr. Wetzel. Kind regards, RES

I had a 3,000-graft FUE hair transplant with Dr. Anderson on December 30, 2025, and the experience fully lived up to my expectations. I chose Dr. Anderson based on his reputation, the results I had seen, and my prior experiences at the clinic for PRF treatments. At no point did I feel pressured to move forward, which mattered a lot to me. His approach was honest, calm, and realistic, and that ultimately led me to travel to Atlanta rather than stay local in Nashville. Dr. Anderson has an excellent bedside manner—confident, reassuring, and clearly artist-minded. He took time to answer questions and set appropriate expectations. Surgery day went as smoothly as possible. Pain management was excellent, the staff was professional and attentive, and Dr. Anderson spent plenty of time with me personally. Small details, like a good lunch during the procedure and letting me keep my preferred hairstyle in non-treated areas, made the day more comfortable. My transplant focused on the crown rather than the hairline, and the swirl pattern was designed very naturally. Recovery progressed exactly as described: the first week was tough, but each week improved significantly. At about six weeks post-op, I’m fully back to normal and currently in the shedding phase, which I was well prepared for. Friends and family have already commented on how natural everything looks and how quickly I recovered. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Anderson, especially to first-time patients or those who are detail-oriented and cautious. If you’re considering a hair transplant, make sure the timing is right and plan for at least one full week of recovery. Dr. Anderson and his team provide a professional, honest, and high-quality experience.
