North of Atlanta Pain Clinic

For the past three years, I suffered from persistent pain in my hands and, for the past year, pain in my shoulder. Despite visiting my family doctor, I saw little improvement, and it left me feeling discouraged and emotionally drained. Thankfully, a friend recommended Dr. Yoo, and I decided to seek his help. After receiving treatment and clear guidance from him, I finally began to feel real relief. I can now move my hands and shoulder much more freely, and my overall condition is improving day by day. I’m truly grateful to Dr. Yoo for his expertise and care, and I also want to thank the kind and professional staff and nurses who supported me throughout the process. I was a patient of Dr. Yo for over a year, receiving treatment for chronic migraines and occipital nerve pain. Dr. Yo is genuinely kind and has a warm, compassionate personality that makes you feel heard and respected during visits. His office staff is also incredibly friendly and professional, which made every appointment a positive experience in terms of atmosphere and care. Unfortunately, despite multiple treatments including nerve blocks and RFA, I did not experience any relief from my symptoms. In fact, the RFA procedure was particularly difficult for me—rather than alleviating my headaches as expected, I ended up dealing with severe pain for months afterward. I had to visit urgent care and the emergency room multiple times due to the intensity of the headaches following the procedure. I was told the treatment could offer up to 12 months of relief, but that was not my experience at all. While I appreciate the effort and care I received, the treatments did not work for me and resulted in considerable physical, emotional, and financial strain. I hope others have better outcomes, but I feel it’s important to share my honest experience for those considering similar treatment paths.

The staff over at North of Atlanta Pain Clinic are wonderful. Dr. Yoo was very compassionate, gentle and friendly during my procedure. My procedure seems to be a success, it’s been a few days now and I haven’t needed pain medication. Thank you so much Dr. Yoo and crew!!!!
