I cannot speak highly enough about the level of care and professionalism at Mind and Motion. From our very first interaction, it was clear that this is an organization that truly cares—not just about the patients, but about the families supporting them as well.
What stands out the most is the genuine compassion shown by the staff and supervisors. They are consistently kind, patient, and respectful, making a potentially overwhelming process feel manageable and even hopeful. It's rare to find a place where you feel seen and heard, but Mind and Motion makes that a priority.

Drew who did the assessment for my son has been so incredibly helpful and patient. My son seemed to feel comfortable the entire session. Chelsea was amazing to help schedule all follow up appointments! Overall, an amazing experience and I would recommend bringing your loved ones here to get the help or answers that you need.

My son met with Deidra on 3/5/26. After the session he asked when he was coming back and was sad that he probably won't be back. He said he had fun playing with Deidra and the VR and wanted to come back. So glad Deidra was able to make his evaluation fun!

Their therapists take the time to truly listen and ensure that every patient feels heard and receives the best support possible. You can tell they value not only their clients but also their staff, which creates such a warm and welcoming environment. Their dedication and compassion truly make a difference. Highly recommend!

My son recently had an appointment at this facility to be evaluated , and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.
During the visit, my son was hyperactive, which is not uncommon for children especially in an environment where they may feel anxious or overstimulated. Instead of handling the situation with patience and understanding, the staff member conducting the appointment appeared visibly frustrated. She gave my son attitude and even made side comments and facial expressions toward a coworker who was in training, which I found very unprofessional.
Afterward, she brought in someone who seemed to be a manager to speak with me. I was told that due to what happened during the appointment, they would need to reschedule and that they would prefer to schedule us with a male provider instead. I did not appreciate that at all. My son missed school, and I missed work to attend this appointment. To be told we needed to reschedule because my child was being hyperactive felt unfair and insensitive.
This is a facility that evaluates and works with children who may have autism or other neurological differences. Hyperactivity, difficulty sitting still, or behavioral challenges should not be unexpected in this setting. I would expect professionals in this field to demonstrate patience, compassion, and understanding ,especially toward children who may already be struggling. From the beginning, customer service has been poor. It is extremely difficult to get someone on the phone, as calls often go unanswered. When we arrived for the appointment, the atmosphere was not welcoming at all, which only added to the stress of the situation.
