I was sent to Dr Larson for an independent medical evaluation. For the first 15 minutes he wasn't even looking at my relevant scans just the ones from 10 years ago and when I tried to question it he argued with me at first and then eventually found my new relevant scans. Then after seeing the new scans he proceeded to tell me the surgery that he wanted to do on me and why I should go there for surgery for another 15 minutes. He then asked when my next appointment was and I said not for a few weeks and he said "oh good! I have a couple weeks before I need to write my evaluation" and rushed me out the door. After he did eventually write his evaluation it was riddled with things that were untrue. Nearly as I can tell when he went to write his review he only looked at the old scans again and then put things in about my medical history that was either mixed up with another patient or made up. I've tried to reach out to his office multiple times to see if I can get any of this fixed but they won't talk to me.

Dr. Larson fused L4,L5 because of lower back pain. Larson owns the surgery center where I had OUTPATIENT spinal fusion. Needless to say the pain spiraled out of control. Two weeks after surgery my surgery site became infected so I went back in where Holly, his pa, looked at it and realized the dissolving stitches weren’t dissolving so she used tweezers and RIPPED them out. At my 6 month appointment Larson tells me I’m all healed, but could hardly walk, I could walk fine before surgery! If you want back surgery do not see Larson. If workers comp sent you, you get to pick whatever surgeon you want! Don’t go to Larson, I was in pain before surgery, now I struggle to walk and am in worse pain 5 years later.

Dr Larson takes the time to understand his patients concerns. My back surgery was successful and appreciate him and his amazing staff.
