Dr. Ronald Hanson helped give me my life back.
I’m now 3.5 years out from my first PRP/stem cell procedures with him (and ~3 years from diagnosis), and I finally feel like myself again.
My timeline
Jan 2022: Diagnosed with craniocervical instability (CCI) at Caring Medical (Dr. Hauser). Imaging showed instability from C5–C1, worst at C3–C1, with a ~4.5 mm overhang at C1 and compression of the vagus nerve and internal jugulars.
Mar 2022: First PRP/stem cell series with Dr. Hanson in Minneapolis.
Jun 2022: Second series (we did these back-to-back so I could try to get back to medical school).
Apr 2023: Third and final series. I ultimately did start medical school after this final round.
Where I started
Before treatment I’d collected a stack of diagnoses, including ME/CFS meeting international criteria. On the ME/CFS scale I was a 2–3: not bed-bound, but house-bound for ~2 years. Pain was 24/7 (often 5/10–7/10 - wanting to crawl out of my skin); most days I could only make simple food, do occasional laundry, and shower. Travel to get diagnosed wiped me out. I had written goodbye letters to my family. That’s where I was.
Why I chose Dr. Hanson
I interviewed several top physicians (including Centeno/Schultz). Many focus only on the “bad spots” and inject. CCI is more complex—it involves the spine and the nervous system. Dr. Hanson combines exceptional technical skill (ultrasound-guided precision; his needle work is the best I’ve seen) with a whole-person plan: NUCCA/chiropractic, muscle activation, nutrition, and mind–body support. His clinic feels calm and healing—couches, blankets, water features, plants, even a massage chair. It doesn’t feel like a cold medical office.
Results & what helped
I went from constant pain, isolation, and an interrupted suicide attempt to being active, back in school, and engaged to the love of my life. Two things that amplified my recovery:
NUCCA—do it before procedures and stay in alignment consistently afterward.
Meditation—a daily practice (I started with Joe Dispenza’s work) helped settle my nervous system and accelerate healing.
I am profoundly grateful to Dr. Hanson. He didn’t just treat my neck—he cared for me. If you’re facing complex upper-cervical issues and want a physician with both skill and humanity, I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Over two years ago I tore the meniscus in my left knee. After researching the orthopedic procedure, I decided to look into stem cell procedures and spent weeks doing that and additional time researching practitioners and clinics. In the process I found Dr. Ron Hanson, and my husband and I traveled to Minnesota for the procedure. Dr. Hanson is a wonderful man and amazingly skilled at what he does. His equipment is state of the art. As he did the ultrasound of my knee, he spent a great deal of time telling and showing us what was revealed. The following day, he carefully explained as he performed the stem cell procedure. The precision of his injections was superlative. My husband and I returned to our home state later that week. Dr. Hanson talked with and worked with the physical therapist we had selected. He also provided me with a comprehensive outline of the various recuperative exercises I was to do. My knee healed beautifully. I'm quite active and have no hint of discomfort or pain. Thank you, Dr. Hanson, for being a man of strong character and an excellent practitioner.

I had a cervical stem cell procedure with Dr. Ron Hanson that permanently injured me and now I am unable to live a normal life. Living is now torture with how much pain I'm in and its only gotten worse as time goes on. I can barely move my head and when I do it sounds like its tearing and it never stops spasming, never ever stops, its torture. This procedure took my life away from me, things were going good in my life and I just wanted to heal some chronic pain but now I'm in infinitely worse pain and I've lost everything meaningful to my life because of this procedure.
Update: What Dr. Ron Hanson replied with is a lie and I can prove it with my texts, emails, and medical records. I took down my previous comment because one of his colleagues asked me to so we could work things out and Ron Hanson agreed to give me a refund but did not so my review goes back up. This doctor is a fraud and has hurt more people than just me. Wonder why Ron Hanson doesn't list where he worked before Orthocure? I know why. If you want to know more about Dr. Hanson go to the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice and look up his medical license (Ronald, Hanson) where you will find his disciplinary action report which reveals who he really is, he is not allowed to be alone with females because of sexual misconduct, he has threatened to kill people at gun point, and much more. Look it up and research him.

After a year of dealing with debilitating CIPRO induced tendinopathy Dr. Hanson performed stem cell/PRP injection procedures on both of my achilles tendons. After 2 months, I was already able to walk better than any time in the previous year. After 6 months I was able to run again. Dr. Hanson's injection methods, equipment, and surgery center are state of the art. Anyone dealing with CIPRO induced tendinopathy needs to see him.
I had multiple procedures: PRP, Stellate Ganglion Block, and stem cells. All were very helpful. My neck had deteriorated so much I couldn’t hold it up strait. After multiple injections in my cervical neck and upper back, I have had great improvements! The Ganglion block helped me get out of the fight or flight mode so that I could begin to heal. I won’t trust any other doctor for regenerative care!
