Julie has transformed my health in a short period of time through functional medicine. Through her reeducation and testing of how my body functions, she has guided me through an ongoing individualized treatment to equip me and help me feel better in many areas. The thorough assessments and reports that Julie uses and explains through in great detail are simply astounding. Her vast knowledge and experience in functional medicine is so encouraging for women struggling with health issues. After breast cancer surgery and radiation, Julie has equipped me with a plan and tools to naturally treat my estrogen and overall health. I am fully motivated from her education in how I needed to change my lifestyle, because I am now living without pain/inflammation and hopefully disease. I have never received this level of care nor such individualized detailed assessments of my health. When I found myself disappointed with the health care I was asking for and not receiving thru my old provider I went in search of a functional practitioner. I found Julie Tebben CNP thru a quick google search of my neighborhood and it has been the best medical decision of my life. In our first visit Julie listened to my goals and recommended some tests to start with. When those results came in she spent an hour and a half with me explaining my situation in great detail. I have never experienced that level of care before and it has completely changed my view of my medical situation. Julie attentively listens and makes suggestions based on what you are asking for. Since I began working with Julie I have been able to reduce my anxiety level, increase the quality of my sleep, and have an overall better way of life. She was also able to recommend a great nutrition coach who has been a wonderful addition to my health journey. I have been seeing Dr. Julie for over three years. She has significantly improved my symptoms related to EOE and perimenopause. She listens deeply to all my symptoms and situation, explains the many factors related to the symptoms, and provides a detailed summary and plan of how to address my conditions. I have never had a doctor listen to me the way she does. Although she is not opposed to using pharmaceuticals, if needed, she offers more natural sources and supplements to help with my conditions. She helped me get off of a horrible pharmaceutical that I was on for over 10 years and I haven't needed it since! I'm very grateful for her knowledge, professionalism, and kindness.
