About this clinic

Fosnight Center for Sexual Health, in Asheville, specializes in hormone replacement therapy and testosterone optimization for sexual health and function across genders. The clinic offers shockwave and Softwave therapies—regenerative modalities that support tissue repair and vascular function—alongside individualized hormone protocols. Treatment plans emerge from comprehensive assessment rather than a single standardized approach. The practice positions sexual wellness as integral to overall health and frames its offerings within a multidisciplinary, evidence-based model. Patients seeking hormone-based or regenerative approaches to sexual dysfunction, desire, arousal, or satisfaction-related concerns are the primary focus.

I absolutely love everything about the Fosnight Center! Everyone from the front desk to the nurses/assistants, they are so helpful. I see negative reviews from A LONG TIME AGO, and I know office staff have changed, so I took those reviews with a grain of salt. Then some folks complain about cancellation/reschedule policies, but they are very transparent up front. I mean if you don't read the paperwork you sign, don't blame them!! I see Amanda and she is so helpful and always listens. I can really tell the office collaborates, because if she doesn't have the answer right then, she talks to Aleece and/or other colleagues. I feel safe when I am there and I feel heard. Also, I don't feel pressured with only one solution, I feel like I get to collaborate on my own care.

As a genderqueer breast cancer patient in very early surgical menopause, I have a very medically complex situation. I deeply appreciate the unique level of attentive, person-centered service provided at this clinic. With the help of the Fosnight Center, I have attained a rare holy grail for estrogen-positive cancer patients: full sexual function, plus freedom from the genitourinary problems that seem to haunt most people in my position. I just want to scream from the rooftops to my fellow cancer patients who are struggling with low libido, orgasmic dysfunction, pelvic floor issues, and constant infections, "It doesn't have to be this way!" My success wouldn't be possible without the partnership this awesome sexual health clinic. And it's worth mentioning that even before cancer treatment took away my cycles, I was being treated for PMDD in a gender-affirming way at the Fosnight Center. Aleece had already helped me nearly heal from that rollercoaster by finding the perfect testosterone level to tone down all my PMDD symptoms, allowing me to actually live my life without those violently disruptive hormone cycles. So, we've been through multiple major medical issues together, and I am so grateful that the Asheville community has this resource.

I was so excited to go to the Fosnight center several of my friends and co workers just raved over the help they received. I don’t know if I was expecting to get the help I was seeking or went in with high hopes from others. I went in for hormone therapy and urinary incontinence. I’ve been experiencing raging abnormal hormones for the past 2 years and urinary incontinence for almost 7 years. The doctor I saw tried to put me on birth control pills and gave me advice on how to retrain my bladder and suggested I may possibly have a bladder infection, which I totally do not! They wanted a clean urine sample but didn’t have the necessary products to collect one. An examination was never done and a blood panel was not taken to see which or what if any hormones are low or high. I guess she could tell by my appearance. The Dr acted like she has seen women like me before and birth control pills were going to solve these perimenopause problems. All my friends and co workers that referred me all had blood work done but not me she could look at me a tell I guess. This appointment wasn’t worth dealing with traffic in Asheville. I’m glad so many ppl have received help but I was not one of those people and I was highly disappointed. I will not be back. People want help not the run around. I’ll seek help elsewhere.
