There is a slice of heaven at the Southern Ketamine Clinic in Asheville. Guided by Val, the CRNA who administers the actual infusion. She is the epitome of a highly educated yet compassionate health care professional. She has found her purpose and I am so fortunate to be one of her patients. I came in extremely depressed with treatment resistant depression and an anxiety disorder to match. I've had 3 treatments so far and feel absolutely wonderful and light. This clinic is in a professional setting and you are cared for by not only Val but a very competent office personnel named Peter. I am thrilled with having Wells the therapy dog who sits with me during my infusions. Icing on the cake. I owe my new life to these folks for working so hard at healing my mental illness. Sounds dramatic because it is. I didn't want to live anymore now I can't wait to experience life at the fullest.

I highly recommend Southern Ketamine Clinics! Coming from another ketamine clinic, having Valerie, a highly skilled nurse anesthetist, was the missing link for me. I hadn’t been able to tolerate the higher doses I needed due to anxiety, but Valerie’s expertise, attentiveness, and genuinely caring nature made all the difference. She knew exactly how to support me, and my treatment was a success! Sessions even come with a bonus — Wells, the sweetest therapy dog, if you’d like his company. He’s a wonderful lap dog who helped me feel calm and safe during my sessions. What a love he is! Endorsed by my own therapy dog, Seamus!

I just had my first session at Southern Ketamine Clinics. From walking in to leaving, I felt cared for and safe. They worked with my limited schedule to get me in three times in one week. Valerie was gentle and very educated on the process (I’m coming from a previous clinic so I had expectations from my past experiences). The best part is that they have a therapy dog who sometimes ‘works’ by lying with you if you’re comfortable with that! I’m an animal lover and I swear the pup was giving me healing vibes through my infusion. Big fan of this place and happy to include them in my mental health management!
