Pineland Aesthetic is hands down the best functional med establishment & Dr. Karla Gochenour is an amazing, knowledgeable & very well educated provider. She is always available to answer questions, comments or concerns. All you have to do is send her a message in the app and you get a reply within 24hrs most times. Her knowledge and expertise is rare in the ever growing field of functional medicine & it’s refreshing that she isn’t pushy with memberships or trying to make you buy supplements that you don’t really need. She is there for the PATIENT first and foremost. She addresses your concerns and sets you on the path for success but never tries to sell you anything you don’t need. 10 outta 10.

Negative experience and poor handling of patient care. I enrolled in this medical program and received only one initial consultation. The medication provided did not last for the full prescribed dosing period. When I reported the issue, the provider declined to assist and redirected responsibility entirely to the pharmacy, despite being the prescribing clinician responsible for the treatment plan. I followed the cancellation policy and provided the required 30-day written notice, which the provider acknowledged. Despite this, an additional monthly charge was processed. I was later informed that no medication would be provided and that the charge was for “medical program services,” even though no follow-up visits, clinical oversight, or medical care were actually delivered beyond the initial consultation. The response relied heavily on legal disclaimers rather than patient support or resolution. Billing for services not meaningfully rendered, combined with refusal to assist with medication discrepancies, reflects poor patient care and questionable billing practices. I do not recommend this provider.
