I have been dealing with spine issues for a couple of decades, and recently had a severe onset of pain. I was treated by Dr Horowitz and eventually received a spinal epidural injection that has been very effective. I highly recommend Dr Horowitz at the Center for Musculoskeletal Disorders for excellent care and professionalism.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Horowitz; he came highly recommended from a family friend and i must say, he did not disappoint. The staff is also really nice. I was very hesitant about getting my shot procedure because of a previous bad experience but He made me feel confident of the outcome. Today I’m pain free thanks to him. Amazing work!!!!

My primary doctor at CMD has been Dr.Horowitz and if you are reading this and have an issue with your neck or back I implore you to schedule an appointment with him. He has set the bar so high for what I now expect for my medical care, his bedside manner and thoroughness throughout this past year and several procedures have put me at such ease. He treats you like family and takes the time to weigh treatment options. I'm extremely apprehensive when it comes to any medical procedure but throughout the six or so procedures diligently executed by Dr.Horowitz I knew that I was in the best hands. I cannot say enough positive things about this man he is truly the benchmark of orthopedic care by every metric.

Cannot say anything about doctor himself, but felt that must leave a review on medical office courtesy and knowledge. Although, making appointment was easy enough and they took all of the related information over the phone, called to confirm the appointment the day before, upon my visit it became a complete disaster. The young lady at the front desk started me with filling up the paperwork. During that she would address me from behind the counter without calling me by last name, or miss or anything. Upon completion of documents she stated that I am out of network and should anticipate to pay at least 50% of visit cost and following procedures if needed. I tried to bring to her attention, that on my insurance site Dr. Horowitz is clearly marked as In network provider, and, his office checked my insurance benefits ahead of time of visit, therefore I would have anticipated to be advised on such discrepancy before I waste my time, made arrangements with my job to be off and delaying my treatment. In a very impolite manner I was told that this is my responsibility to know this information before visit and either I pay or I leave. At this point I have requested to speak to a management and was told that management is not available and nothing could be done. Obviously, as a new patient who is in pain and was hoping for relief, I was quite upset with being treated in such a rude and inconsiderate manner. In addition, I should mention, that as medical professional myself, who works in a very well respected medical practice, our patients always come to their visit with full knowledge of their financial responsibilities, extend of coverage and if there any issues, they taken care of in a very attentive manner. I wish very much to this office of Dr. Horowitz to develop such attitude towards their current and prospective patients as well.

Dr. Steven Horowitz is my hero. He helps manage my pain in ways I never thought were possible. His ability to heal has amazed me. Dr. Horowitz’s healing is mixed in with a ton of kindness and patience. I am a forever fan. It is an honor to be his patient. The entire staff is super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!!!
