About this clinic
Brucato Foot and Ankle Surgery, a podiatry practice in Northern New Jersey, offers laser therapy alongside foot and ankle surgery, custom orthotics, and advanced wound care. Laser therapy (LLLT) supports tissue repair and may help reduce inflammation in select foot and ankle conditions. The practice combines surgical intervention with conservative modalities, allowing patients to explore regenerative approaches before or after procedural treatment. Custom orthotics are tailored to individual biomechanics, and the clinic's wound-care protocols address both acute and chronic presentations. The practice serves patients with sports injuries, structural foot problems, diabetic complications, and post-surgical recovery needs.
To everyone who works at Dr. Brucatto's office, I want to express my gratitude for the treatment I received during my recovery from foot surgery. Everyone was very attentive and helpful. And not to mention Dr. Maryellen Brucato, I just want to thank her for the care she gave me, for explaining everything she would do and did on my foot. She is an excellent and dedicated professional. I recommend that anyone needing her care, whether for their foot or anything else, contact her office, contact Dr. Maryellen Brucato.

I had such a great experience today. Daysha, the receptionist, was incredibly kind and explained everything thoroughly from the moment I walked in. Dr. Brucato was also very sweet, informative, and made sure to take care of the issue I was having. Overall, I felt very supported and well taken care of. Highly recommend!

I called to reschedule my appointment and was immediately met with the attitude over $ 50 cancellation fee. Daysha at the front desk didn't even ask why I was canceling my appointment - if she had, she'd know I had an emergency:
I lost my front tooth and had to see my dentist. On top of that she threatened that if I didn't pay the $50, Dr. Brucato would send me to there collection agency. Seriously - for rescheduling/canceling an appointment! Who has ever heard of this?
Rachael then got on the phone claiming to be the office manager, even though Daysha had just said she was. Neither showed compassion or cared to listen, Dr. Brucato included. Later I was told that Dr. Brucato would waive the fee but she would not see me as a patient anymore.
I hadn't been there since 2021, and this is how returning patients are treated? If you were in my situation, you'd want someone to ask what happened and see if they could help - they never did.
My niece, mother, brother, husband and daughter all go to see Dr. Brucato. I will be sharing my experience with them as well as informing them to find another podiatrist who actually values their patients.
