It’s truly difficult to put into words what Dr. Ken Cheng has meant to our entire family. We first began working with Ken years ago while my wife was recovering from surgery. What started as physical therapy quickly grew into something far beyond the usual therapist-and-patient relationship. We assumed all physical therapists were essentially the same—until Ken showed us what a physical therapist can truly be. Over the years, whenever a family member or friend needed physical therapy, Dr. Cheng was always the first person we recommended. The moment you walk into his facility, Ken has already observed you from head to toe, assessing your progress since your last visit. Within seconds, he can pinpoint what has changed and what needs attention—always with a warm smile, and often a hug that makes you feel immediately welcomed and cared for. I’ve also seen how thoughtfully Ken blends the wisdom of traditional Eastern philosophy with effective modern Western treatment. Just as meaningful, he shares books and ideas that help you see your future differently—introducing perspectives and experts that can reshape how you think, heal, and move forward. All of that deserves recognition, but Dr. Ken Cheng is even more than those qualities. My wife and I came looking for a skilled physical therapist; what we found was a true sensei—someone who has made a lasting difference in our lives. Dr. Ken Cheng is genuinely one of the most inspirational people we know.

SJPT is a wonderful clinic with amazing doctors and support staff. My family and I have been working with the SJPT team for several years now. And let me tell you, this is not your typical physical therapy clinic. This is hands on therapy tailored to your specific needs. They don't give you a paper with your exercises on it and walk away like the other places! Everyone I have recommended SJPT to has been very happy. I am so grateful to have met them.
