Went through insurance. They did thorough testing on my son who got diagnosed. Dr tremantano is knowledgeable and patient. I also worked with other staff and doctors. All very professional and helpful. Yes, the appointments do get made without your approval. Think virtual assistants do this. Just cancel or reschedule. Not everything has to be perfect
honestly, before scheduling my appointment with them, I read these reviews and felt pretty nervous, but they ended up being my only option. i was referred here by my psychiatrist because they accepted my insurance, and yes, they do schedule appointments without your direct approval. personally it was convenient as they'd organize it into a cohesive sheet and i didn't have do much work. vanessa, a receptionist here, was very kind and patient and explained the entire neurocognitive session process. she was very kind and communicative. i went in specifically for an adhd diagnosis but i have an assortment of other issues. the proctors were kind and patient with me, i never felt judged for struggling at certain tests. overall, this process went very smoothly for me, which was surpising considering the reviews on here. if you're stuck on whether to go here, i would suggest going through with it and trying it out. although im seeing a lot of people have negative experiences, mine was great and now i'll be able to be medicated for adhd.

This place is okay with scheduling but completely failed me by overshadowing the ASD diagnosis and complex psychiatric picture, completely nullifying the testing for any sort of DDD. They pushed all my issues onto my psychiatric stuff, and put it in PTSD I never had. Even when I showed them the IEP at 3 years of age, they even pushed that aside and said "no you dont have autism, the rest of your problems are PTSD and OCD",
I understand I'm supposed to be honest, however, the assessment was completely off. When I asked for a re-evaluation, Gerald shut me down and asked me "so why are you here for exactly?"
Completely felt disrespected. If you're on Medicaid, skip this place entirely and go get a single case agreement literally anywhere else that is neuroaffirming. Bully your insurance to avoid this scam.

Despite what everyone else says, I didn’t have much difficulty with NCBI in terms of scheduling, which is why I give a 2 and not a 1. What I did have issue with is their overall diagnostic processes and their apparent lack of knowledge regarding how masking impacts a person and whether or not they “appear” autistic to evaluators. They seemed very focused on surface level indicators, and I felt as though they didn’t take time to actually inquire about my day to day lived experience. Much of their diagnostic processes were lacking in the depth required in order to properly assess individuals who are high masking, neglecting an entire portion of the spectrum in the process. I sought out a second opinion elsewhere, at a Neuro-affirming practice, and was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD by someone who listened to who I was as a human rather than how I appeared via the numbers on their scoresheets.
If you are a late realized, high masking individual, I encourage you to seek out neuro-affirming practices rather than going here just because it’s covered by insurance. Some information assessed was valuable, but overall I feel as though NCBI is not equipped to diagnose complex cases of high masking neurodivergence.

Believe all of the reviews that point out how terrible the scheduling and follow up of this place is.
I had been referred here for an assessment by my Nurse Practitioner with suspected ADHD. I completed the intake, provided my insurance, and agreed to testing sessions recommended for my particular background except for the brain mapping, which wasn’t covered by my insurance. Once I completed all scheduled testing (which took multiple days and multiple sessions, all of which were billed to my insurance promptly), I didn’t have time to complete the last testing so I needed to schedule additional time to finish. This place ghosted me completely after however, and I had to chase to get that final additional session scheduled. Finally, once I completed it, I waited to hear back on results… for weeks.
I reached out once after a week had gone by to ask when I could expect results or what next steps were and heard nothing. I called and got voicemail, and no one returned my call. I reached out again after another large amount of time had passed and was still ignored. I asked my practitioner to reach out at that point as I had no idea how to proceed and she also could not get ahold of this place.
I was so frustrated because I wanted to move forward with treatment if needed and I could not get a single bit of communication from this place. I understand if testing takes time to assess and complete, but I was not even communicated with when I asked for a simple update. I ended up having to reach out and threaten getting legal counsel involved since my insurance had been billed and my copays had been paid but I was not provided with anything. They got back to me within an hour then and told me they needed an additional session so they were “waiting on the next available time.” Okay, so maybe TELL me that?! My multiple attempts to get an update had been ignored! They then went ahead and scheduled that session for a time without even clearing it with me, and it was a time they could not do, nor was I interested in completing anything else with them. I told them to cancel that last session and just get me my assessment, and additionally clear times with me before just throwing them on the calendar. We scheduled the final feedback session with the Dr then so I could get my results and I was told I would have the VR link sent to me the week of the session.
So day of the session comes around and still nothing. I followed up to get the link before the session, didn’t hear anything. The scheduled time came and went and I heard zero from these people despite the fact that we had both confirmed that day and time. I was so furious — I had taken time off of work to do this. Finally around midday they “apologized” and said the new time for my session was that day at 4pm. Thankfully I had already had the whole day off and I was so keen to be done with this place that I just took it even though they had completely ghosted the earlier time and thrown this on the calendar without checking again.
My session with the dr was 15 mins and I had to follow up after twice to get the assessment.
Once they sent it to me, I was fully prepared to never deal with this place ever again due to my experience— but then they reached out a few times after to set up additional sessions— and when I didst respond they threw something on the calendar again!!!
Who does that? What kind of place are you running? The incompetence is so off the charts that I almost feel like they do it on purpose to bill you a no show fee (which is $150). I literally had to threaten them to take off the sessions and not schedule any additional ones or I would get legal counsel involved. I had to threaten legal action twice with these people!
DO NOT GO HERE. This place is a headache at best and a scam at worst.
